Design & Functionality
Built Market Totes are ideal for shoppers that want a tote bag that is both insulated & stylish. It's footprint is about the same size as a standard paper grocery bag (not quite as tall). Materials
Made with lightweight insulating neoprene. Neoprene is water-resistant, abrasion-resistant (there's a reason why its preferred by coral reef divers), has insulating properties & is extremely lightweight. At less than 5mm thick, it protects while not being bulky. It's also vinyl free and lead-safe.

Like other reviewers have said this bag really does need a zip. I purchased it assuming it would have a zip like the other built lunch bags I have. It is still a good, strong bag like all of the other built products I have however lack of a zip limits how I can use it.

Love these bags ! I use mine for a shopping bag, they stretch and also the handles
are so comfortable. Washable too! Great item.

great Built quality
A great Built NY product that is a nice large tote that is a lifesaver in transporting groceries or food especially when there is risk of some moisture or dripping. Only drawback may be that it does not have a zipper which is a nice feature to have. I have 2 other lunch totes by Built NY as well as a water bottle holder AND a laptop bag, and they are all high quality products.

Love the bag
The insulated bag is really cool looking. I wish it had a closure and was a little bigger. Other than that I love it.

Wish it had a zipper

My only problem with the bag is that there's no zipper. I use it to carry my lunch & iPad & whatever else I need to work but I can't take it out in inclement weather because there's no way to close the top. It's still a great bag and I love the print, I just wish it had a zipper!

Just when you think you have all the built products you need, reuseit.com puts another one on sale....so you buy 2, one for a friend (who uses it religiously) and one for yourself. Even though I do have a bunch of these bags already, keeping some at home, some in the car, and some at work guarantees that you will always have one at the ready. They are wicked strong, expand nicely and are comfortable to carry with the soft, cushy handles. In addition to the insulating properties of the neoprene, they are very protective when carrying fragile items

Could Use a Zipper

I agree, like other reviewers, that a zipper closure is a must on this large market tote. Even at a few dollars more, it would be well worth the price. To allieviate the situation, I hot glued a velcro strip along the upper edge that works so-so. Heavier items sometimes still pull the velco apart. The tote could also be a tad larger. So, Built, please consider our comments and upgrade the bag soon!

LOVE my Large Market Tote!

I love this bag. I use it in combination with my workhorse and acme PET totes. This bag is used for my cold food items. It helps me keep the cold on the trip home from the store. Since I only put my cold items in this bag, it is easy to get them unloaded and put away quickly. The bag is very light weight, and soft. It is a great addition to your reusable bag collection.

Love the Built products! I like this bag, just wish it had a zipper like the lunch totes..Love the fact that its lightweight...Bag is very well made..and it gets lots of complements! I use this when i go shopping to carry my refrigerated purchases...Overall a good value..

Built NY Large Market Tote
Let me first say that I have never found a Built NY item that I didn't like :-)! I think this bag is wonderful. It does definitly hold a full plastic grocery bag of stuff and is easier to carry and won't rip on you. I would not call it large but it is large enough and I have toted many things in it already. The price is fantastic for this product as well. Built NY products are easily washed which makes it nice. I am very hard on my items so I have put them through many a test of endurance and they always hold up. If you want an all around cool bag this is the one. Now it does not have a zipper so I would not consider it to insulate but for a quick trip the shore or even to throw in your 15" laptop it is a great bag! Don't let the size fool you..

Product is great, good design, well made, sized right for it's purpose. It's size and flexibility allows you to carry a lot of different things in this tote, and it looks good too!

Nice size
When eating out or doing a fast food run I use my own container and this bag holds my reusable containers. If its take out I place my order and hand them my containers from my bag and I don't have to worry about throw aways anymore. If I eat at a restaurant I simply put my own leftovers in my containers and bring them home in my BUILTNYbag. Love it.
