I think I now own 9 of these bags and I always need more. The long handles make them easy to throw fully loaded ones over your shoulder and still carry other things in your hands too. I tend to load too much on myself when unloading groceries in order to make fewer trips and these bags really help with that. They hold up to 40 lbs and I test it every time I purchase groceries. I also use these for all my other shopping too. Not sure the merchants prefer that since that means I don't use their bags that display their store logo on them. Oh well, I'd rather display the ChicoBag name and feel rpoud that I am taking home less plastic with me.

The Whole Foods style bags were just taking up too much room in my car so I wanted to get some good bags that were more compact. The ChicoBag Vitas really fit the bill! They hold a ton, they shoulder straps make carrying heavy groceries up to my 4th floor condo much easier and they are so compact I can carry all 5 of them hooked to a leash clip that I can then hook to my cart at the store. My only wish would be that ChicoBag would find an American manufacturer for these bags. We need to make things here again, put Americans to work, reduce the carbon footprint of importing so much and stop giving China all our money. I still recommend these bag though, they are great!

I only purchased 2 of this size and will be getting more. They hold so much and I love to use them as opposed to plastic. I hope the bright colors are back in stock.

I love my chico bag. I can carry it with me so easily when I am out shopping and it opens up to becoem a very roomy bag. I got one for myself and my wife. We keep them in the car for unexpected shopping moments. We just grab them on our way into the store and free ourselves of that ugly pile of plastic bags that we used to accumulate.

I was very happily surprised upon receiving my Chico Bag! I ordered the green and it came as a small pouch with a heavy duty clip to attach to a belt loop, purse strap, key fob, another tote for that extra back up bag, attaches to metal bar on seatbelt so you always have it if you need it in the car. Also, great to attach through the opening of a laundry basket to sort delicates when at washer for a separate delicate load and carry to dryer for low heat drying. It also attaches nicely to Fido's collar or leash while on a walk, if you stop somewhere, outside produce market etc., remove from collar or leash, fill with produce and carry home easily with wide opening shoulder strap, a large bag from such a small pouch that is one unit that folds into it self with a strong pull cord and being one piece, you will never lose the pouch! No plastic bags!! This is a feel good product that can be used for many purposes and the smallness can fit in a pocket, purse, glovebox, anywhere!

This bag is very functional. I like the amount it can hold and I also love that you can bunch it up into a smaller carrying bag. This makes it easy for me to carry to and from the house with me and I have it whenever I need it. Because it's so lightweight and packable, it always looks wrinkled. Therefore, if you're wanting a bag that always looks nice I would choose something else. Overall, it's a great bag!

I purchased this bag because I always, always forget to bring my other reusable bags. Even when I leave those bags in the car, I still forget to bring them to the store with me! This is a really great bag-it's so small that I can just stash it inside my pocket.

EXCELLENT BAGS. I have two smaller Chico bags and the larger Vita bag. They are the best. Very compact and easy to use and store, Great bag for when you have to run into grocery store for just a couple of items. Would like to see more colors please- maybe some flower print.

Great bag - Kept it in my purse on a shopping trip and pulled it out on my first purchase, It's hard to get your bag out before the clerk puts your items in their plastic bag sometimes. Ended up using it as my purse as the day went on. It's a little wrinkly to be a purse though. It does carry nicely over your shoulder though.

Love these bags! Bought 3 initially to try out and loved them so much that I ordered 5 more. They are small, light-weight, and compact and really do pack up easily. I love that the pouch becomes an inside pocket to hold things like keys securely. I gave them out as gifts to my family and they also love them. The long handles are great for carrying over the shoulder unlike the ACME bags which I ended up returning. These bags are also made of a much more substantial material than the AMCE bags. I debated between these and the Envirosax bags but in the end I didn't want to deal with the hassle of folding and rolling up a bag. I am so glad I ordered these instead. The pouch is also much smaller than I initially thought it would be. I would highly recommend these bags to anyone looking for a light, compact, reusable bag that is sturdy, holds a lot, that you can carry over your shoulder, and is easy to stow away.

I'm so happy that I discoverd the Chico Vita bag on your site, as I am already a fan of the original Chico bag. It's bigger than the original and the longer straps make it easier to carry over your shoulder comfortably. It's functional for the market yet stylish enough for the department store. I am a reusable bag "junkie" and have many other brands but the best feature of this bag is that there is no need to fold the bag into the integrated pouch; just stuff it in and you're ready to go. I clip it on to my purse so I'm always prepared for those unexpected trips to the store or times that I need to bring items home from work. I'm never caught without a bag; this was a great buy.

I am so glad to see the VitaBags on this site! They are fantastic! They still come in their little pouch as the traditional sized chico bag and stow away to be just a little bigger than the smaller ones. The shoulder straps are big enough to fit on your shoulders comfortably. I have one of these along w/ a chicobag and an ACME workhorse that I take with me to the supermarket and these three bags are all I need! The Vitabag was put to the test on its first use when the bagger put all the heavy bottles in it including the gallon of water, milk, juice and a large glass bottle of tomatoe sauce all in one bag. I dont care for having so many heavy items in one bag but it has held up time and time again w/ no problems! and I have to carry it up a fifth floor walk up! I actually find it easier to carry the heavy objects in the VitaBag on my shoulder and carry the lighter items in the small bag to get up the stairs, especially if I'm wearing a long coat or skirt that i need to maneuver and hold onto the railing at the same time. This bag has been such a life saver for me and the baggers never seem to fill it up enough! It certainly lives up to its advertisement as to how much weight it can hold! I absolutely love this bag and take it with me everywhere! I have kept so many plastic bags out of my house. It makes me feel really good!
