Design and Functionality
Cute, kid-friendly design has a wide, zippered opening and plenty of interior room for lunch containers of different shapes and sizes. Dabbawalla lunch bags are made of stain-resistant, insulating neoprene, so food stays at a safe temperature for hours. Has an easy-to-grip handle and an outer pocket for extra storage or an icepack. The bag stands upright when in use, but lies flat for easy storage. Contains no lead or PVC, and colors are created with Oeko-Tex 100 dyes. CPSIA-certified. Because bags are hand-made, individual designs may vary slightly.
Materials
Made of lightweight, insulating neoprene. Neoprene is water and abrasion-resistant, has insulating properties and is extremely lightweight. At less than 5mm thick, it protects without being bulky. And, it's vinyl-free and lead safe.

A cute and functional lunchbag
My son loves his monkey lunch bag. I love that it is machine washable. Even though it costs a little more than others, I think it is worth it. It is well made, fits a good amount in it and it is easy to clean.
I have found in the past that if I can't machine wash a lunch box that it barely makes it through a whole school year. I am confident this one will.

We constantly get comments on how cute these bags are. We have one of each and really like the size and durability. The monkey has an extra external pocket too. Really large interior yet folds pretty thin as food has been eaten. Great product! A tad pricey but very high quality.

Adorable kid bags
These bags are adorable. They are roomy enough for the bento boxes we ordered, plus a sippy cup or small thermos, or a piece of fruit. They have a little mesh pocket for an ice pack, and they stay pretty cold throughout the day. I actually got compliments on them from my boys' teacher - they thought these bags were so cute.

My son loves the big features and overall cuteness of this one. I love the internal mesh pocket and that it is machine washable and that it is an adorable little monkey for my little monkey to carry

Cute, functional, easy to wash.
Love the bags! My kids (2yrs and 4 yrs) fight over which one they want to take each morning...then they are very possessive and protective of their bag. We bought 3 to cover us when one is in the wash. Have received many compliments on them from other moms and dads. Definitely recommend to others. I have even passed on my discount coupon for other friends to purchase their own.

Super cute Monkey design -- a hit with the elementary school kids! Very durable with netting inside to hold a drink and another pocket to hold napkins, utensils, etc. Great size for a small water bottle, sandwiches, small containers of food. Love the handle -- easy for my son to grab and go. I'm thinking of getting one for my lunches! Customer service was very nice. Product arrived fairly quickly.

Best Purchase! Love it!
Absolutely love the Dabbawalla Lunch Bag! I was originally skeptical at first as it is not the traditional lunch bag we all grew up with and are used to material wise. However, I am thankful I took a chance. My only regret is I did not order two! My son who is 18 months recently started daycare. I wanted his lunch bag to be special and something that he liked and thought of home when he used it at lunch time. We ordered the Holy Cow as he loves Cows. Great construction of the bag and great size. I can fit a ton of items in there!

This lunch bag is everything I hoped for and more! Let me explain....I was a little skeptical that this bag would not keep my sons lunch cold all day at school. I was also concerned about the size being too big. The price, being PVC & lead free, plus the cute modern design made me give the bag a try. My son loves his lunch bag! It keeps his lunch cold all day for 8 plus hours....his ice pack comes home still part frozen! His old "insulated" lunch box from Target never kept his lunch cold all day. His teachers all rave about it too. The design makes it stand apart from all the other kids lunch boxes so his is always easy to find. The size is maybe slightly larger than a tradition lunch box but my son who is 3 carries it with no problems at all. It can be folded/rolled up for compact storage too.
