Design & Functionality
The ideal every day, carry-all bag, these cotton totes are versatile, durable, machine-washable and made from 100% recycled materials. Comfortable, wide, cotton handles make it easy to carry on your shoulder or in your hand.
Generously sized (a bit bigger than a standard brown paper grocery sack), the bag has a deep 7.5” gusset and is double stitched at all stress points. It’s strong enough to hold 30+ pounds, so you’ll never worry about the handles breaking or the bottom ripping on larger loads.
Materials
When it comes to sustainability, recycled cotton blows away organic cotton. Made from pre-consumer cotton "table waste" clippings that otherwise would be dumped in landfills, it may be the most environmentally-friendly fiber on the planet. Manufacturing and processing recycled cotton requires no wet finishing, dying, liquids or chemicals. Thanks to recent advances in manufacturing, recycled cotton looks and feels almost identical to conventional cotton.
Recycled cotton makes sense. Using it in place of regular cotton helps eliminate the harsh dyes, pesticides, energy, water and human labor required of conventionally grown cotton. Love these bags!
I ordered four of these to carry groceries, and frankly they're so big I usually use just two. They're very sturdy and hold as much weight as I can carry - probably more, really. Haven't needed to wash them yet so cannot comment on whether/how much they'll shrink.

Durable, strong bag
I've had mine for more than four years, and I've used them for everything. They're strong and durable, and can hold the amount three or four plastic bags would carry. The only drawback is they significantly shrink when you wash them. They've definitely served their purpose, and I love the fact they are made from recycled cotton, but this time around I'm opting for a bag that can either be wiped clean or made of material that won't shrink in the wash.

A good tote
I use it at the supermarket and it is great for holding big items and heavy cans. It is a large bag so it can get heavy, but it holds alot of things. Good for the store.

Washability
Washed my bags in cold water aand let them air dry. Have about a 20% shrinkage. Anyone else have any "shrinking issues"?

I have been very pleased with my Ecobags. They are sturdy, fold easily and can be washed (although they will be wrinkled after washed). They are much larger than the reusable bags I had used before and have a large base which will carry items easily. I am pleased to use bags that can be washed and which are large enough to warrant carrying only 4 per shopping trip.

Great investment!
I've been using these bags for about three years now, and they are still going strong! They did shrink some when I washed them the first time, but they still hold a ton. I love that I can wash them over and over whenever needed. I keep four of them in the trunk of my car and use them for all kinds of things - shopping, travel, camping, etc. What a fantastic buy!

Great natural fiber bags!
These bags are LARGE with long, comfortable handles, sturdy construction, and heavy weight cotton fabric. While they don't expand like synthetic grocery bags can, they do have a capacity that amazes. And since they are easily washable and made of recycled cotton, they are a breeze to maintain if something spills on them. I'm very happy with my purchase and plan to order more for gifts to family & friends!

Great, sturdy bags!
These bags are sturdy, and you can fit a ton a stuff in them. They look nice, and I like that I can just throw them in the wash if they get something on them. I would buy them again.

Bags are great! They are plain, durable, and can hold much more than a typical grocery bag. You could very easily put your own prints and designs on them if you wish.

I love my new Ecobags!
I love my new Ecobags! They are very sturdy and the handles are long enough to carry over the shoulder which makes bringing in the groceries much easier. What I am most happy with is the size - they carry so much more than paper or plastic grocery bags! I have already recommended them to my relatives.

These totes are thick, well constructed and can handle any large job. They stand up great when you are trying to fill them. I air brushed designs on mine and they took the color well. These are my favorite totes now!

I love these bags so much I had to buy more!
I love these bags so much I had to buy more! They are so strong I can pack anything and everything inside them! Plus, with the neutral color, the entire family can use for any purpose - on top of groceries they go to all our retail stores, carry supplies for road trips and carry goodies when visiting friends!
