I purchased the organic black cotton string shopping bag set w/hemp stuffsack. I love the bags, especially the long handles. They are well made and strong and I'm sure will last a long time. My only remark would be that the entire set of bags will not fit in the stuffsack. That sack could be a bit larger. Thank you. I'm sure I will shop with you again.

These bags are fabulous!
These bags are fabulous!! They pack up in a small sack to take into the store, but stretch like mad to hold tons of stuff. I have had several people at the store ask where I purchased the bags - they are simply great :)

I really love my new mesh bags!
I really love my new mesh bags! They hold a lot of groceries, even heavy stuff like milk and juice. I live in NY so have had to carry them while walking many blocks and on the subway, and they've held up great. I do prefer the short handled bags over the long handles though, since they seem easier to carry, so I would have preferred that the 5 pack of bags were all short handled. Also, the "stuffsack" used to carry them in is a bit larger than I expected, but I usually only carry 2-3 bags at a time, and it works ok. Overall, they are great and I love not having to waste plastic or paper!!

A handy little set of bags
A handy little set of bags. Only down side is that the hemp stuffsack is way too small. It only holds 3 of the 5 shopping bags. But besides that, these bags are great cuz they stretch to carry large and heavy items and don't seem to be easy to break. I keep them in my car so when I go shopping I don't forget them!

These bags are great, and a really good value!
These bags are great, and a really good value! I knew I would need a bunch of 'em because I buy a lot of groceries, so the set is the way to go. They hold a ton of items and expand quite a bit. I even brought one to the beach the other day to carry my towel and swimsuit and stuff, and that worked perfectly. Other brands of these black string bags that I've used have stained my hands and other things with leaking black dye from the fabric, but I'm happy to say that these ones do not stain or leak color, even when wet, yay!

I find this set of bags very acceptable
I find this set of bags very acceptable. The Hemp Stuffsack is not so useful. Instead of it, I use the ACME Bags™ - Recycled PET Dual Handled Tote to store all my cotton string bags. At first use, I had difficulty remembering to bring the bags in with me but now that I have used the tote as I would a purse, I do not forget the bags. The cotton string bags hold many groceries and if they are stuffed to capacity then I prefer the ones with the shoulder length handles. I also prefer to pack my own bags, because if care is not taken then some items are smooshable- bread, eggs, etc. If you have difficulty caring heavy loads, you'll need more bags, I can fit 6 two liter soda bottles in one, but I'm the only one who can carry it.

These are the best bags for regular grocery shopping - they hold so much. My only comment would be to have the stuff sack slightly larger so the bags can fit more easily inside.

These string bags are great!
These string bags are great!!! There easy to store in the trunk of my car, since they don't take up much space. The bags are very strudy and can handle lots of groceries. I very much enjoy this website and most definitely will tell others about it.

I LOVE THESE BAGS!
I LOVE THESE BAGS!!! They've been a really great way to feel like I'm doing something to rid the world of plastic bags. They really do stretch to accomodate oddly-shaped items in addition to large amounts of groceries. I really like that I'm now able to fit all my groceries in these bags and my pantry that was once filling up with plastic bags is surprisingly empty. I'm thinking about getting more to use for going to the beach and camping. On a scale of 1-10, these bags are a 100! Thanks for a great product and a great shopping experience! Keep up the good work!

I really like my black string bags
I really like my black string bags.. The only thing that I have yet to solve is when I put the filled bag down on the car seat, the contents spill out because the bag collapses. If I only use them for bulky items they're great. Thanks for asking.

I love the cotton string bags, as they are very expandable and portable. My one complaint about the stuff sack is that it isn't big enough to hold all the string bags at once but other than that this is a really great product.
