ECOBAGS® Pastel Cotton String Shopping Bag Set with Hemp StuffSack

I have been using these long handled mesh bags every week for shopping for over five years now. In all that time, only one bag has broken ( I have 10 of them) even though I stuff full and heavy with use. That one bag suffered from some abrasive product I out in.

As other users have remarked, they expand to hold an amazing amount. I always worried that they would break, but they are now use tested by me for half a decade and as useful and strong as ever.

The only problem has been for reuseit. They keep emailing me as if I am a lost customer. I am not. It is just that their product is so good, I have not had to replace it! Sorry guys. The only thing I can offer is a good review.

I'd wanted these bags for a long time and finally ordered them. The colors are beautiful, I get lots of compliments on them. It truly is amazing how much you can pack into one of these bags! Much more than someone like me with a bad back can lift. They are exceptionally made and I look forward to using them for many years. It even makes grocery shopping more enjoyable!

i like the expansion of these bags. it colors are easily recognizable. the bags are washable. the holes are the correct size so as no items will fall through the holes. the bags are easy to carry when filled.

these bags are just the right size for managing groceries. the bags expand for usage.

I was given the bags as a gift and have found to be very useful not only for shopping but a variety of things. My son had commented on them and so I sent him a set as well. You can't imagine the comments I get in the stores as they stuff groceries into the bags as they find out how much they will hold

These bags are awesome! I have been using reusable shopping bags for some time now and have been wanting to get these because I am still using tons of plastic bags for produce. The bags work great at the grocery store and are perfect for the Farmer's Market also. They are made well, the colors are vibrant, and they all fit in the little hemp sack that comes with them. The bag looks small, but holds a LOT.

I love my string bags. I'm surprised that a few people have said they can't get much into them... they STRETCH! The baggers at the store are always amazed by how much can be stuffed into the bags. I can always always fit an entire cart of groceries into 5 string bags.

Smaller than I expected! Based on the photo with the cereal box inside the bag I thought they'd be bigger, i.e. with nearly the same capacity as a regular gorcery bag. They are definitely smaller. And it seems like they're going to be very hard to load at the grocery store. But my sister loved them (they were a gift)... mostly because they're so cute. Probably would not buy again.

The bags I ordered are for a Christmas gift, so I haven't actually used them. I like the pretty colors of the bags. They don't look nearly as sturdy as the string bag I bought for my own use in France, so I just hope they hold up well for my niece's shopping. I wish everyone would use string bags. If my niece gives me a good report, I'll order more.

I love the ecobags. I bought 10 short handled bags,and they fit the hangers at the check out really well. Food doesn't fall out when they are in the trunk like food in the plastic bags does. They hold about $350.00 worth of groceries(one cart heaped full). Everybody wants to know where I bought them. I don't use the hemp bags that came with them. I use a short piece of cord and tie the bunch of them on the cart handle while I shop.

I was so satisfied with my first order of reusable bags EarthTone String Bag Set - Short Handles that I ordered a second set. They hold more than the supermarket plastic bags, are attractive, and now I don't have to worry about having to dispose of plastic. Other shoppers inline at the checkout stand have commented on them and have shown interest in buying them, so I just give them the website where they can order them.

I felt the size of the bags I ordered were smaller than I was led to believe when reading the ad. The ad said that it held up to 40 lbs, but I am not satisfied with the size of the bags and will probably not order any more of these bags.

i love these bags!! i've had one that i bought in england in 1958 and am still using it- that is why i purchased more to give as gifts- merchants are amazed at how much they can stuff in them- when i hand i over and say- no plastic please- use this bag.
