Once used for carrying commodities in Southeast Asia, the rice & feed bags used to create these one-of-a-kind pieces have been 100% recycled into a new life as stylish multi purpose bags. Each is skillfully crafted in small batches by a fully certified Fair Trade Co-op in Cambodia.
One-of-a-kind style: because these bags are handmade in small quantities, please be aware that certain colors may occasionally be unavailable and original prints will vary from bag to bag. The first time I used the bags, there was interest in them from salespersons (the small one is used in my purse and is a wonderful organizer) when I went shopping Easy gift item too ! Most of my gift-giving come from reuseablebags.com now- suits my practical personalily.

Zipper broke on 2 of the pouches..within 2 weeks of purchasing! the smallest pouch still works fine. Did not use other than to hold small cosmetics in my purse and loose papers..I didn\'t overstuff or handle the pouches roughly. The zippers just stopped zipping!! Bummer! I really liked the Gecko bags and product lines....but just don\'t see the quality for the price! Will not purchase Gecko products again.

I ordered these bags a few weeks ago and am seriously considering ordering another set. They are beautiful and fit all of my make up and brushes. They seem very durable and well made, and I am excited to be able to use them for a long time! When I showed them to my sister she immediately ordered her own!

I appreciate that the three bags looked just like they did on the internet. The quality is very good. I think it is fun to use them, enjoy the style and am glad to support Cambodian people who make them (I think this is where they are from). I do wish there was a zipper inside on each of the bags. The bags are great sizes and very attractive. The only negative is that I've found the color wears off on my hands when I carry a bag as a clutch. While the bag still looks fine, I've only had the bags a couple weeks so I don't know how the color will hold up in the long term. Overall, though, I'm still happy with my purchase.

I am very satisfied with the trio. The zipper on the smallest does not work, but other than that they are great. I use them as a small clutch. I love the look of them and they are very durable. Great price for all three.

A co-worker turned me on to the recycled bags
A co-worker turned me on to the recycled bags. One day I was walking by her desk and the colorful bags that were peeping out of her purse caught my eye. I asked her about them and she told me what they were and where I could purchase them. I immediately got online and ordered. They arrived in a timely manner. I love the colors and durability. I use the big one for a make up bag that fits nicely in my purse. In fact, all three are used for odds and ends and are in my purse. They are great for storing loose ends and I can find things easily now. No more rummaging through the handbag and getting frustrated when I can't find something. I will order more - my teenage daughter desperately wants a set. I don't think I can make her wait until Christmas!

I love these bags as they are totally unique, colorful, and funky. I have one in every size and now the multi-bag set. They are good for pencils and pens, and just about anything that needs a little bag. I think all Gecko Traders bag are great!

I love my Gecko Traders set of 3 small bags! I use one as a cosmetic bag, one for a clutch & the smallest for tiny items that get lost in my purse. Everyone who sees them really likes them, because they go to a good cause, are useful and stylish. I will definitely order again - the order was easy to place & the shipment came in a few days!
