Using the SplashGuard™
1. Set the SplashGuard™ in the bottle's mouth.
2. Press the SplashGuard™ into the bottle until flush with the top.
3. Screw the top on.
4. Open the bottle and enjoy splash free drinking.

NOTE: WASH IN DISHWASHER BEFORE USE! I bought this to use with my Guyot Designs Wide-mouth 32 oz Stainless Steel Backpacker. I love it. I did not love it at first. Due to the smell and taste it had. I washed it with soap and water along with the bottle and put it in my bottle and it was not very good. I then tossed the Splashguard and the Backpacker in the dishwasher and it took all the taste and smell away. Great Product now.

I'm not sure how much I like this product or how useful it is. I haven't been using it too long. It serves its purpose but I have to reposition it often. Despite that-I think I'm better off with it than without!

These are an absolute MUST if getting a wide-mouth
These are an absolute MUST if getting a wide-mouth bottle. The only thing I don't love about it is that if it's in just a little crooked it will leak a bit. It's not a huge deal, but I thought I'd at least mention it. Overall, I wouldn't drink out of a wide-mouth bottle without it.

I did not like the splashguard for two reasons
I did not like the splashguard for two reasons. 1) it still smells like plastic and 2) it keeps fallin into my container. I have the large nalgene bottle.

The silicone splash guard is nice because of the u
The silicone splash guard is nice because of the universal fit. However, I think the silicone holds onto odors more than it's predecessor, the hard plastic splash guard.

I bought this for my 32 oz
I bought this for my 32 oz. nalgene wide-mouth bottle. It fits perfectly. It is very easy to fill the bottle, and I can drink without getting a facefull of water. It goes into the dishwasher when it starts looking yucky.

This is clearly the best invention in water bottle
This is clearly the best invention in water bottle accessories. It is so simple to use and to clean. And makes it possible to drink from a large water bottle while walking on a treadmill or driving in the car. Awesome product!

The mouthguard is very easy to drink from, however, it has a chemical smell that does not go away although I have hand washed it many times. I bought two; I deal with the smell but my husband cannot use his because he is very sensitive to the chemical smell. I definitely would not buy this item again Norah D
