Made from ultra-durable, single walled surgical-grade 18/10 stainless steel. Clean, sleek design is built for the outdoors but stylish enough for everyday use. Leak-proof lid (made of glass enforced nylon) attaches to bottle with strong rope cable that also is adjustable / removable. Insert a SplashGuard™ into bottle mouth for easy drinking.

The bottles are okay. I either failed to read or I misunderstood that these are not double-wall / insulated. Fill with cold water - be sipping warm water in minutes. Dang. Live and learn.

This is an ok water bottle. It's a great size. The only downfalls are that because it's surgical steel, the bottle sweats a lot and a built cover won't fit over it. I have the shorty 24oz and it doesn't fit in my car's cup holder either. The lid is also attached by a lanyard and it hangs at an unusual length. If you get this bottle, I highly suggest a splashguard! It's a rubber insert that fits at the top of the mouth of the bottle and prevents that splashing up your nose, particuarly while driving! If you're looking for a good steel bottle, I suggest the kleen kantene. Make sure to get one with a BUILT cover!

Excellent product - I can't wait for these to beco
Excellent product - I can't wait for these to become available again. I bought a Shorty for myself for drinking water at work, and am using the Guyot Designs Gription lid/handle with it - and now my wife is jealous and wants one of these shortys for herself! The size is handy for on your desk, short hikes, driving (especially with the Gription handle for one-handed drinking operation!). I don't worry about it not fitting into my cupholder, since it can be set just about anywhere within reach without worry of spilling a drop.

I like the wide mouth for easy cleaning
I like the wide mouth for easy cleaning. However, I wish the bottle itself was a little narrower so it would fit in my car cup holder. I do like the stainless steel and the cap design. Except for it's not fitting in the car cup holder, I am very satisfied with it.

I tried using the bottle with the splash guard, but the lid attached with a cord was a bit of a pain to deal with. I decided to get the "Gription" bottle top, and now it's a LOT easier to use. The only things I don't like is that in hot weather the bottle is covered in condensation (and drinks warm up quickly), and due to the shape of the bottle, it's a little difficult to get all the fluid out unless you take off the top or the splash guard and turn it on it's end. Overall though, it's a good buy.

I just got my stainless steel waterbottles, and I
I just got my stainless steel waterbottles, and I love them. My partner and I have used them every day. I feel really good about getting something that doesn't leach chemicals, is reusable and it works with my water filter. I would highly recommend them to anyone. The only complaint is that they are a bit heavy for backpacking or bike touring, but they are very durable.

The mouth of the "Guyot Designs Wide-mouth 24 oz Stainless Steel Reusable Bottle was not as wide as hoped, not for complete comfort in knowing it would get sufficient water in the dishwasher to come clean. Also, the bottle should be tapered more at the base, as it does not fit into many standard cupholders. The biggest drawback though is that when turned upside down to dry, water collects on the curved ledge leading to the opening, so the thing takes forever to dry completely.

Well-constructed, sturdy, and pleasing to look at. I am having trouble, however, with the stainless steel taste and smell when drinking water out of this, and am thinking I may have to return it for that reason. Still debating.

Everything about this bottle is great
Everything about this bottle is great. I was looking for a replacement for my CamelBak bottle, because of the possibility of chemical leaching, but I really wanted to keep the CamelBak "bite valve" drinking straw system, and this worked perfectly. It has the same "wide-mouth" size, and the CamelBak lid fits perfectly. The bottle itself is a bit heavy, and attracts smudges, but overall, it hasn't scratched, keeps things cold for a while, and looks really good. Very happy!

These are very nice and high quality
These are very nice and high quality. They are also very HEAVY. I purchaed the wide mouth splash guard to go with. My Son likes them very much. He takes one each day for crew practice after school. We run them through the dishwasher each night on the top rack. Very sanitary. I don't use because they're so heavy.
