expensive for the result
I agree that the photo is deceiving. These bags don't independently stand up. Which is fine, just not what I thought I was getting. I love the colours and the cotton. I agree that the handle should be slightly longer to go over the shoulder.

Well made and cute, not as pictured
In the photo online, this bag appears to be a "grocery style" that stands up on its own and rectangular shaped. It is actually more of a light-weight tote bag, but it is really well made. The fabric is as pictured as far as the decoration goes. The handles are not real long but the are adequate if you are just going to carry it with your hands. There is no way to have this hang from your shoulder unless you are incredibly small, which I am not. I'd buy more at the sale price, but I would design the bag differently (as it appears in the photo actually) if I were to charge full price.

Picture Misleading
The picture portrays a bag that stands up on its own. Although the bag is beautiful in color and design, it is completely flimsy. For a bag that is not flimsy, but structured and stands up on its own, the Alchemy bag made from an ad banner and seatbelts is the one. Check-out clerks and baggers usually compliment it as it's easy to pack and doesn't collapse on them.

The b
The b. happybag holds up beautifully. I recently went to the grocery store to buy some groceries and upon checking out, got some of my heavier items placed in a paper bag before the clerk realized I had brought my own bag. The rest of my groceries were placed in my b. happybag. While carrying both bags from my garage to my house, the paper bag handle broke and the whole bag ripped dumping my groceries on the ground. Of course, the b. happybag remained completely intact. It is stylish, durable and I am reducing my carbon footprint. What could be better!

This bag is a little too sloppy for me
This bag is a little too sloppy for me. It's hard to pack quickly in the store, doesn't hold much and is prone to spilling it's contents in the car. It's cute but not practical. I won't be buying more.

I've purchased several of these B
I've purchased several of these B. HappyBags for myself and as gifts for others. They can be used for various things besides grocery shopping and they are so colorful! My only complaint is that they are not easy to fill when loading groceries - it's not a quick bagging process at the grocery store. If they had little hooks on them like those plastic bags so that the bagger could hang them upright, they'd be perfect.
