Nalgene® 32 oz wide-mouth bottles feature non-leaching HDPE (#2) plastic and are based on the classic 32 oz size that is still a favorite among purists. Wide-mouth opening is easy to fill, empty and clean. We love them because they are economical & dent-proof – ideal if you’re looking for a basic, no-frills alternative to use-and-toss bottles. Like all the other bottles we offer they are also safe, recyclable (and of course) reusable!

Design & functionality
Nalgene HDPE 32 oz reusable bottles are really lightweight, economical and virtually unbreakable. The standard 63mm loop-top cap protects contents from dirt and other contaminants. The large wide-mouth opening makes hand-washing a breeze. Permanent graduations on the bottle allow for easy measuring and mixing of powdered foods and drinks. Works with most major water purifiers and filters. Plus, you can freeze these bottles unlike metal bottles (allow room for expansion).
Use a humangear capCAP to add a narrow spout to your wide-mouth bottle for easy drinking.
Materials
Nalgene 32 oz All-Terrain bottles are made with HDPE (#2) plastic. Along with polypropylene (#5), HDPE (#2) and LDPE (#4) are safe, non-leaching plastics. HDPE is a sturdy and reliable translucent plastic. Nalgene bottles made from HDPE resist UV penetration, which can damage and discolor the plastic. LDPE (#4) is flexible, impact-resistant and microwave-proof. Both plastics are dishwasher-safe and able to withstand temperatures from -148 to 176° F (-100 to 80° C). Nalgene bottles feature FDA compliant materials and are tested according to the requirements of the US FDA for food and beverages.
Sustainability
Nalgene bottles are reusable and 100% recyclable. Single-use, disposable water bottles (PET plastic) create millions of tons of unnecessary waste each year. According to the Container Recycling Institute, less than 15% of plastic water bottles in the U.S. are actually recycled. Using Nalgene reusable bottles help preserve natural resources while saving you money in the process.

I love this bottle
I love this bottle. I even bought two of them. I would recommend purchasing a Splashguard to use with it. I wish it would fit in my car's cup holder--but that's no big deal. My only concern is that after a year of use the paint from the logo is peeling off.

It's like old Nalgene bottles, except that it is obviously made out of a different kind of plastic (you can feel it with your hand), so it doesn't change the water's flavor. It was well worth it.

No complaints! I have always loved the wide mouth bottles and love that there is now a safer option. I love to be able to get ice cubes into my bottles.....wide mouth is the way to go.

Hello, The bottle is pretty good except for one issue, the interior of the bottle retains the plastic like odour. I rinsed the bottle a number of time, with cold water, hot water, but of no use. I was quite clueless with what to do next to get rid of the odour. The fact that there were no instructions on how to clean the bottle only made me more lost. Aditi
