Platypus soft bottles are a durable, ultra-compact replacement for use-and-toss plastic water bottles. When empty, the bottle can be rolled up and stored almost anywhere. When filled, the flexible construction enables it to fit in almost any drink holder, including bags and backpacks. It weighs 80% less than a hard reusable bottle of the same size.
Comes with closure cap. Push-Pull and HyperFlow Bite Valve caps also available.

Hi,
first I have to say that the package was a little bit damaged in area of the closure cap - it was scratched and after I opened the bottle it stinked in some way - I had to use cleanning procedure to be able to use the bottle,
but generally the bottle is ok to take it everywhere you go,maybe I will buy a 0.5L.

I have four of these bottles just for myself. I used them every day and think they are the best water bottles I've ever owned. The older ones I've had for over a year and they still look brand new even though I'm quite hard on them. I did purchase the hyper flow cap and really recommend it if you are active at all. I like really cold water so I freeze about a 10oz of water in it and it works perfectly. They are very durable too, one of mine went for a ride on the back of my truck and then fell into the street where it stayed for an hour or so until my husband found it on his way home. No holes or anything, great quality!

Great Bottle for travel

I take these everywhere. Great to freeze for a road trip. Clean up very easy and are great when empty as they take up no space at all. Great for travel as some airports now have more fountains for filling up bottles for re-use. Very durable and a great value.

Works great for hiking, snowboarding, work, etc...Space saving qualities and weight are such a plus. It's been pretty durable so far and love that it can roll up and stuff in my pack very easily.

I love this bottle. It can fit everywhere when it's empty. The only thing is that the bottle takes every scratch and it already looks very scratched even I've been using it for about 3 weeks.

lightweight and useful

The platypus bottle holds a full liter of water, is very lightweight and rolls up to fit in purse or backpack when empty, a useful characteristic. I'm not sure about how clean it stays when rolled up in hot humid conditions since there's no obvious way to dry it out.

This is my second Platypus and I'm just as pleased with this one. There are some small drawbacks- it can be awkward to drink out of when 'on the go' since it is flexible (but also one of the great atrributes since it rolls flat) and it is hard to dry it out. So I just keep it filled as soon as I wash it- problem solved. I do get weird looks about it (someone said it looked like an IV sack.. or another 'hospital' type sack), but I love it all the same.

Really like the size for a day out and love how light weight it is for the amount of water it holds. The only drawback is it is a bit awkward to drink from (using the included screw cap lid) and I usually end up having a drinking cup or bottle when in the car. But otherwise I am very happy with this product and will continue to use it.

I love that this bottle is light, easy to drink out of, doesn't leak, and the convenience of tucking it away when empty. I wish it had some sort of "handle" or clip for carrying, though. Also, I'm not sure how to dry it out between uses, so we just fill it and store it in the fridge. Otherwise it's great, does everything it says it does.
