Here at the office, we're always capturing our latest ideas on whiteboards hanging all over the office. We've even gone so far as to turn an entire wall into a white board! Needless to say, we were going through a lot of dry-erase markers and were looking for a less-wasteful approach to our creative process. AusPen's refillable, non-toxic markers fit the bill. Not only do they help us keep dozens of markers out of our trashcans, they also work really well - and without harmful chemicals like Xylene used in most dry-erase markers (the ones with a strong smell). This starter set includes a carrying case, 6 markers and 6 refill containers and a refill wrench - everything you need to kick your disposable dry-erase marker habit!
AusPen's markers are made from lightweight recycled aluminum. Even if you leave the cap off, they will remain usable for more than 24 hours. Each refill container is helps you use your AusPen enough times to replace more than 20 disposable markers. Perfect for schools, offices or home use.

About AusPen
AusPen started with a commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. The company's founders heard a shocking statistic: in Australia alone teachers throw away 40,000,000 marker pens each year. That means that in the United States, some 400,000,000 marker pens are thrown out there each year.
That means around 2,500 tons of marker pens go to Australian landfill sites annually, and 25,000 tons go to US landfills.
Worse still, most of these contain a harmful chemical called Xylene. AusPen intends to solve that problem. For both the health of those who use markers and the earth at large, AusPen designed their line of economical, environmentally-responsible, high-quality whiteboard markers. They were determined to help minimize waste and to create a product that uses responsible manufacturing methods and recyclable materials to make safe, cost-effective and high-quality products. Their goal was to make a marker that was not just more environmentally-friendly but also superior in other ways including colorful options and safer materials.

enjoy this product. but not for children
I bought a set of these markers for my classroom, so that we could cut down on our dry erase waste. The kids love them! They are easy to refill! And write well.
However, my hope that they could used and used and used was dashed when I realized that the tips of the pens are easy to mash in. I imagine that if adults were mostly using them, everything'd be just fine. But the kids are just a little too hard on them.

I always disliked the smell of dry erase markers, these markers are outstanding in craftsmanship. There is no foul odor, the aluminum casing is durable and lightweight. Love the double sided tips if one side gets beat up just flip and you have a nice point all over again! great product, I ordered 2 sets as the kids enjoy long hours of drawing and writing!

Great Pens, Write Like New
Granted, I just bought these, but the markers write like brand new ones--dark, crisp, bold lines. I love the idea of being able to refill them, so that my pens will always write like this. Writing with dull dry-erase pens is not as fun.

Great idea but, maybe we got a lemon.

I was excited to give these to my 11 year old for his birthday as he uses dry erase markers a lot and is always concerned about protecting the environment. I knew he'd love them, and he did-- until he saw that the latch for the case arrived broken & in pieces and 2 of the 6 markers were completely dried out. After days of filling, re-filling, turning the nibs around, etc., we finally got the one of the 2 dry pens to work. The case, however is not repairable. My son happily uses (5 of the) the markers now. They really are great, work well and have good, bright colors. Also we both feel good about not dumping used markers anymore. I just hoped and expected everything to arrive in working order and undamaged, especially something with such a high price tag.
