Design & Functionality
Reisenthel Market Baskets are an updated version of the classic wicker basket. They're a practical size for quick runs to the grocery store, market or as carryall around town. It's an ideal tool for groceries: use in place of plastic baskets, pack and haul home. The sturdy base helps prohibit tipping & spilling. Assembly is simple – expand the lightweight handle from the frame & lock in the up position. Thin inserts are provided to give extra support along the sides. The soft rubber handle is comfortable to grip and is big enough to hook around the forearm. Rigid bottom & protective feet reinforce the base & help reduce abrasion. An inner zippered pocket is convenient for a wallet, cell phone, keys & lists.

I love, love, LOVE this basket!! It's perfect for keeping all my fruits and veggies together in the grocery basket, and I don't have to use all those plastic baggies for individual groups of produce. Plus it is the perfect size for a quick trip into the store.

I love my market bag. I also have the flora one. These baskets are so usefull. I use this on for my knitting and the other for shopping. I am always getting compliments on them. I would recomend this basket to anyone.

I love the bags from Reisenthel
I love the bags from Reisenthel...so, I thought I would try the Market Basket. It is made well, like other Reisenthel bags. It is nicely designed, strong and a beautiful appearance. I primarily keep the basket in the car and empty my shopping bag contents into it during my shopping trips.

This is my second Reisenthel basket and I use them
This is my second Reisenthel basket and I use them daily. For work, shopping, carrying things to visit friends etc. I am from Germany and have seen them there many years ago, so happy they are available here in the US now. The colors are great, my favorite is the baroque sand color!

I love the Market Basket!! I'm a teacher and it's great to carry my lesson plan book, papers to be graded, etc. It's very sturdy and in the summer I can use it to carry groceries. It's very pretty in the baroque sand and I am going to purchase another for myself and for family as gifts. Wonderful and useful product... =)

Love the bags I ordered -- one for my daughter's Easter Basket [she's 27] and for my Mother in Law 80th Birthday. Plastic part A were broken [2], but I have requested replacement parts. I had purchased one for myself earlier -- they are so handy. Have elderly father I am always taking supplies; keeps mail and other things organized from car to house. It is lightweight, attractive and very useful!

Although I do not have this exact basket, I do have one very similar I bought a few years ago while living in Germany. It was my first reusable bag and I love it. I keep it in my car for quick trips into the grocery store and I've even used it for picnics and as an over night bag : ). It really holds quite a bit and I love that it doesn't roll around or fall down in my car like other bags do.
