Reisenthel Market Baskets are an updated version of the classic wicker basket. They're a practical size for quick runs to the grocery store, market or as carryall around town. It's an ideal tool for groceries: use in place of plastic baskets, pack and haul home. The sturdy base helps prohibit tipping & spilling. Assembly is simple – expand the lightweight handle from the frame & lock in the up position. Thin inserts are provided to give extra support along the sides. The soft rubber handle is comfortable to grip and is big enough to hook around the forearm. Rigid bottom & protective feet reinforce the base & help reduce abrasion. An inner zippered pocket is convenient for a wallet, cell phone, keys & lists.

We bought it for the farmer's market but it's hard to resist using it for a bunch of other purposes! It's clearly high quality so though it seemed expensive, I'd say it's worth it!

great great great!!!
i bought this basket after trying to be more eco friendly and its sooo cute~! I use it instead of plastic bags and its great for taking things into work and when i go out and about. Its a lovely color, the floral, and its got a great soft handle. it holds so much i almost never need to use anything else! well worth it, i urge everyone to get it!!

It's an excellent product!
I love this basket and use it for all kinds of things from carrying meals to friends' houses and taking my baby's bottles (and all the paraphernalia that go with them!) when traveling long distances. It is fabulous for all things hot and cold and it's easy to clean. What a great gift!

Good for EVERYTHING
I ADORE this basket. We use it for the grocery store and the farmer's market, of course, but it's also ideal for taking covered dishes to a party, carrying crafts to work on with friends, and lugging kids' toys, sunscreen, etc. to the pool in the summer. (The zipper pocket inside is perfect for keeping car keys and a wallet secure and hidden.) I have the "flora" and and just bought the "baroque sand" for my mom's birthday. Both designs are beautiful, and she was delighted!

LOVE IT!
I can't say enough about these baskets. I own two and have given a couple as gifts. I use it constantly for small trips to the grocery store. I don't have to use the grocery store baskets with all of the bacteria from other people handling them. Clerks love it because it stays open and is easy to load. I also use it to transfer items to and from work and hold knitting when I am doing a project. Item is well constructed and well worth the money. Don't be fooled by knock-offs in your big chain retail stores. They do not compare in quality.

I love my market basket
I love my market basket. I use it every week when i go to the store. The pattern is very pretty and i get comments on it every week. I will be so happy to use it at our local farmers market this summer. It is perfect when you have just a few things you need, but is also helpful when you have a lot. All in all i am very pleased with my purchase.

I received my flora basket as a gift from a friend whose basket I admired, and absolutely LOVE IT! I just sent one to my sister for her birthday, and she likes it, too. The basket is easy to put together, sturdy, comfortable to carry, and beautiful as well. People ask me all the time where I got my basket, and I point them here. I use it for our local farmer's market (the inside pocket is great for keys and cash), for quick trips to the grocery store, for picknicking (it holds a blanket, lunch, toys, drinks for me and my two young sons beautifully), and as a catch-all for heading out the door. I use it so often that I never collapse it down, though that would be handy, should the need ever arise; the plastic stays will fit in the inside pocket. I even use the sturdy plastic/velcro bag it came in for holding my son's art supplies. He loves his art bag, and I like being able to see what all is in there.

I\'ve been in the process of moving and had my Market Basket sent to my sister-in-law\'s home. I just opened the box last night and it\'s looks wonderful. I\'ll be using it today for the 1st time. I saw 2 while shopping at the farmer\'s market in Madison, WI and asked about where they are bought their basket. Both women said they had received them as gifts and just loved them. I went to your website after returning from the farmer\'s market and bought one immediately. We\'ll be back in Madison, WI this coming weekend and I can\'t wait to use it at the Farmer\'s Market. I will be buying more to give as gifts to my friends and family.

I'm using the basket to carry dishes and silverwar
I'm using the basket to carry dishes and silverware to and from the table on our dock. What's taken 4 trips in the past is down to 1 or maybe 2. I love it. I also have the bottle carrier. Every time we take it to Costco and load it up with wine someone asks where we got it. We promptly say: reusablebags.com
