The backpack zips shut and includes a zippered pouch on the outside for keys, transit pass or cell phone. Adjustable shoulder straps customize fit. Neatly folds into its own, attached pouch with a zippered enclosure. Pouch has a loop allowing it to be clipped to other "hookable" surfaces. I love it. I had one in light gray but it got incredibly dirty, the black really suits me better and I have been using it since I got it. It carries a lot without weighing too much.

fantastic bag, lifetime of 1 year
I agree with most of the reviews here; it's a great handy bag to carry with you anywhere "just in case." It's super comfortable and surprisingly roomy for a day's worth of items. The only thing I noticed was that the waxy layer on the inside started peeling off after a year or so (I used it a lot!), and started getting white flakes on my clothes. I like it so much though that I'm getting another one.

Nice lightweight backpack!
I've been using one of these for the last few months. Still looks brand new. GREAT for a small daypack when you are on a trip or for essentials to carry on a plane. I also keep my animal planet pouch of 5 reusable shopping bags (another GREAT product from this website.) in the outside pouch. So when I go to the store, I just carry this backpack. Not only can I put some groceries in the backpack but I have all the bags I need for larger orders. I just bought the black bag for the hubby... he wanted one after he saw how useful it was on our last trip. The only thing that is a bit inconvenient is that the very lightweight fabric gets caught in the zipper. But it's easy to avoid most of the time... so it's still a 5-star bag in my opinion.

Very handy, seems sturdy
I have used this about 5 times, and I like it. It is more substantial than I had expected - thick, water-resistant, a fair amount of room. The zippers stick a little, but work fine; none of the problems I saw in other reviews. The pouch size is a little big, but it is so easy to fold up the backpack, and the pouch is very "smooshable," so it fits in a small space.

great light weight backpack, i love it. but the inside water resistant lining made of plastic i assume, wears out and peels off within days of use. i also assume it will tear eventually like my previous bag, but it's such a great size and weight that i will just use it until it falls apart. my last one lasted me about a year of hard use.

Backpacks and carryall
The backpacks are for the grandchildren to take on a trip to italy this summer. The carryall is used by me as a gymn bag and sometime grocery bag. Works great for me.

Weak parts
Had a replacement backpack sent to me when the fabric on my first one ripped. The second backpack fabric held up to minimal use but the zippers didn't. Half of them have broken in half now. What kind of metal snaps so easily and why would a bag maker use it? Anyway, don't buy this if you plan on using it regularly.

Perfect for Kindergarten!
I got this backpack for my 4 year old after searching for months for one suitable for kindergarten that wasn't a) too expensive and b) overly girly - my girl likes blue! This one arrived and it's perfect - lightweight, fits quite a lot in it and really fits well. I am so pleased!

Light weight backpack
I found this by accident. I was looking for a light weight backpack to take to Disney World in October. This was exactly what I was looking for. It worked out great. The only problem was the zipper pull on the smaller pouch on the outside of the backpack broke off on the second pull. This was noted in another review. The zipper could still be closed and this was not an issue for me.

Great Backpack

Love this backpack. It's very lightweight yet sturdy. Folds up into a compact zipped pouch when not in use. Only negative is that on the larger compartment the zipper always catches the material and you have to keep tugging it out to zipper it properly. Otherwise, great quality.

This little back pack is perfect for travelling whether it's carry-on onto a plane or kept compact until you need that little bit of extra room. Love it, bought for friends too!

the new Mini Max Acme bag...why would you/they put a hard kind of paper material tag on the pocket? I did not have scissors and tore it off...which took the stitching too...unless the tag is removed by the manufacturer, I will not buy again and will not recommend to friends.
