Design & Functionality
Wrap handles with Velcro straps for extra padding make it comfortable to carry by hand, but long handles also fit over the shoulder. Top zips shut with a dual zipper and outside pocket is ideal for a shopping list or other small item. Easily folds into its own pouch with a Velcro enclosure. Reisenthal really knows how to do packable bags. This one is amazing capacious, and yet folds easily into its sleeve. I have one in each car for big shopping, and also often use it for toting packages to the Post Office. The straps are nice and long, and I like the velcro handle wrap and the small outside pocket. I wish there were a clip to attach the sleeve like some of the other Reisenthal bags have.

Great to use for luggage.
I use mine for carry-on luggage when I fly. Unlike regular luggage, the bag does not add weight to your load. It holds all I need for a week and will fit under the seat if the overhead bins are full. I would recommend this for anyone carrying large or heavy items.

bag with many uses
This strong bag is very versatile. When stuffed, it's about the size of a carry-on bag and I've used it for that; holds a lot and can be easily shoved under the seat in front. I've also used it to carry groceries and for lugging dirty laundry to the machines. It really carries a great deal and is seems to be very durable.

The purchase has arrived and looks to be exactly the type of bag I was looking for to use on family travels. I wanted something that folds up very small to throw into a suitcase so that if I shop at my travel destination (or when my child's stuff mysteriously expands in volume) I can easily whip out the bag to use as a second piece of luggage on the way home. I haven't traveled with the bag yet, but I like the quality of the fabric and of the construction.

I LOVE this bag! It fits so much in it, and is really sturdy and strong. I take it to the grocery store, mall, farmer's market... everywhere. It is so much easier carrying this bag rather than 4 small bags.

This is a great bag if you doing lots of shopping
This is a great bag if you doing lots of shopping for bulky items (clothin g etc.). I've used it nurmerous times and it's going strong. The handles are nice and long so it goes over the shoulders even with heavy clothing.

I love this bag! It is HUGE and strong. I've stuffed it to the point it was hard to lift and it's still like new. I also love having the zipper so nothing falls out.

I decided to purchase these bags because I was goi
I decided to purchase these bags because I was going abroad for several months, and I wanted something larger than the cheaper, thick plastic bags that I can obtain here for a fraction of the cost. I received the bags right away, thanks to the fast shipping, and when I arrived at my destination, I immediately starting using them. Most importantly, I like the size - there´s plenty of room to fit all sort of shopping stuff, and because they´re so sturdy, I´m not worried about them ripping as with the other, cheaper bags. I love, too, that the carrying handles are comfortable and fit over my shoulder. Finally, the color is nice . . . and they come in these nice pouches. What more do you want? Mr. Happy

I've used this bag many times on trips between NYC
I've used this bag many times on trips between NYC & Europe, checking it to accomodate overflow from regular luggage and just folding it up and packing it inside on other trips. Very sturdy, even when checked through with regular luggage, and so easy to pack away when not needed. I've since purchased several more for friends & relatives. Best bag of this type I've ever found because it holds a lot of stuff (more than you'd think from looking at it) and then repacks very small.

I LOVE these bags. I bought seevral. We mainly use them as luggage - yup - luggage. Not sure how well they hold up on plane travel if you are checking baggage but we travel mostly by car and they are great. I don't have a lot of storgae space to store suitcases and they fold so small that they take no storage space whne not in use but are plenty big to carry a full week's clothing for a trip. Going longer - pack two. I have one for myself and each member of our family for each trip and then we pack an extra one for any extras we pick up. These are very sturdy and if they get dirty you just wash them. I use their smaller bag - I think it is called the Mini-Maxi for our toiletries.

I love these bags
I love these bags. They are beautiful, lightweight and easy to use. While I originally bought two to use for groceries I ended up using one for packing and carrying some craft items. So I just bought two more! one again to use for groceries and the other to pack up my sweaters and scarves and whatever. These are my lugage. They make great travel bags and if I ever decide to move I am sure I could find 101 things to pack up in these. They are well constructed of a strong nylon which is coated on the inside with a clear sealant which makes clean-up a cinch. The long handles are a plus. Bag is durable and strong enough to hold canned goods as well. Zip it up and food is protected. Easy to store and stash.

This bag is the greatest!
This bag is the greatest! It fits in my purse until I need it and then opens up to a HUGE bag. I was able to carry 3 shoe boxes, 3 long dresses, a few shirts, and some jewelry and there was still room for more.

This bag is fantastic, and very strong
This bag is fantastic, and very strong. I subjected it to a LOT of wear and tear recently during a month-long trip to Africa, and it doesn't even look like I've used it yet! My traveling companion was joking that it was like a Mary Poppins carpet bag where I could fit everything into it. I highly recommend this as something you tuck into another suitcase if you're traveling and think you might need an extra bag to bring back souvenirs. It meets the standards for a carry-on bag, and I could also fit it under the seat on the plane.
