Just like the original reuseit Workhorse, our silicone-coated Workhorses have a truly innovative feature: an integrated pouch, for convenience and portability. Silicone-coated rip-stop nylon is tough enough to carry a heavy load. Even lighter than the original, this bag weighs a mere 1.3 ounces, but it opens into a full-sized, heavy-duty carrier that holds over 30 lbs.

We work with trusted mills that develop materials for some of the best brands in the industry. These bags are made with 30-denier, silicone-coated nylon, a fabric that is considered the gold standard by the outdoor industry and is used to make tents and other outdoor equipment. I got the silicone because it's lighter than the other bags available, it's been an absolute workhorse on this trip I'm taking. I'm surprised this was on sale!

Small but not the greatest

This bag is ultra compact, but I think I prefer my baggu bags. This bag has small handles so you can't carry it over your shoulder. It also folds up sort of strange. It is convenient that the pouch is part of the bag so there aren't two pieces. I have a hard time keeping my baggu bags and their pouches together. Overall, it's good to keep in your purse for small or unexpected purchases. I'll stick to other bags for serious shopping trips.

Great bags
These bags are so terrific! We bought several for our own use and were delighted by how lightweight and packable they are, and yet also seem very sturdy so far. We put two of the bags in a "white elephant" gift exchange at Christmas but ended up rooking it so that we brought those two back home with us to keep in our own stash! Unlike other reusable shopping bags I have, these easily tuck into my purse and are therefore a bit more easily transportable to the store. Love them!

Good bags but could stand improvement
I bought a bunch of these to give as Xmas gifts. I noticed a few had seams that were coming out at the ends of the little pouch inside the bag (where you stuff it in to make the whole thing little). I had to reinforce those seams by hand. The little pouch inside the bag should also be either a little bigger as to not give the seams so much pressure OR make them out of a strechable material, if that makes sense. The handles on these are small. I think they should make them wider. Overall good for carrying around but I wonder how long they will last.

Great compact bag!
The workhorse bags are wonderful - they fold into themselves making them handy to keep anywhere so you always have one. They are lightweight and compact, and easy to use. We have about 6 of the recycled PET mesh style, and LOVE them. After getting this silicone style as gifts for some folks, I have to say I prefer the mesh style. They feel more lightweight and stretchy. The con for this bag for me is the feel of the fabric. It has a "squeaky" feel to it. It doesn't bother my husband, but it's a little like fingernails on a chalkboard for me (I also don't like squeaky cotton rubbing on itself - if you don't know what I mean, then this bag probably will be fine for you!). It has a slightly coated/plasticy feel as well. Also, with this bag style (all fabrics), keep in mind they have short handles, so can't be put over your shoulder. But are great for carrying 4-5 bags of groceries in one hand similar to plastic bags.

Excellent product.
I just bought five of these bags to give as gifts for Christmas. I bought three for myself several years ago...I use them regularly. What is there not to love? They are sturdy, compact, and you can keep a few in your purse, pockets, glove compartment, etc. for when you go shopping. My only complaint is that they are a tad pricey, but I bought a few when they went on sale for the holidays so it worked out perfectly. Would also be nice if the manufacturer made more vibrant colors or perhaps some patterned bags. Other than that...an EXCELLENT product.

I think these are great bags. My only complaint is that they might go back to a slightly larger packed up size. It seems that the size is fine when they are folded up nicely, but when you are just stuffing the bags away they could use a little more space. Great buy and I'll continue to use and love these bags!
