Made from 5.2 oz. 55/45 hemp/cotton fabric. Hemp fabric is 4x stronger than cotton fabric of the same weight. Unlike conventionally-grown cotton, hemp has no known insect enemies and has a high resistance to disease, so there is no need to use harmful pesticides in its cultivation. The more you use your reuseit "Have A Nice Day" tote bags, the softer they get.
Screen-printed locally with PVC-free ink. After some investigation, we discovered that this method of screening creates less waste and lasts longer than water and so-based inks.

My favorite tote!
These hemp totes are very sturdy and are lighter weight and easier to store that some of the cotton totes I've bought elsewhere. I also REALLY like that the message on these is polite. Some bags out there have very snarky messages about plastic bags, and I guess I just think the old saying is true that you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.

durable AND kitschy!
I adore the dual-handled hemp tote for it's durablity and adding this kitschy message makes them even more lovable. I like that the design subtly suggests we exam our plastic bag use with the main design, but I also like the small message at the bottom that more specifically spells out the shocking facts about plastic bag use.
