What Makes it *B-stock?
In our quest to offer the world’s first natural fiber ultra-compact bag, we made a small measuring error on the first round of their stuff pouches. The bags themselves are 19" x 17" x 6" as planned, however the integrated pouch is 4” x 4.5” which makes it a tight squeeze when compacting. The bags still stuff inside, but not as easily as we’d hoped. They’re still great bags, and we’re happy to offer them as B-stock at a discounted price.
For years we’ve searched for this fabric – lightweight, durable and sustainably made. Based on the best-selling Workhorse Original design, these hemp/organic cotton blend bags are modeled after the traditional plastic shopping bags, but they're incredibly strong so they’ll last for 1000s of uses.
Introduced in 2003, each one of our innovative reuseit Workhorse bags replaces thousands of disposable plastic bags. Design & Functionality
The reuseit Hemp Workhorse has a truly innovative feature - it stuffs into its own mini-pouch attached inside the bag. Once stuffed into its pouch, it measures only 4" x 4.5," easily fitting into the palm of your hand and small enough to stash in a purse or pocket, so you will always have one handy. Plus, it is impossible to lose the storage pouch since it's attached to the bag. Weighing in at only 2.8 ounces, these lightweights perform like champs. Each bag opens into a heavy-duty, all-natural fiber 19" x 17" x 6" sack that holds up to 25 lbs. With this bag, you may never have to take a plastic shopping bag again.
Materials

Ok - prefer original
I have had the original workhorse bags for at least 3 years and they are wonderful.
The hemp bags are sturdy as well, but the opening doesn't seem as large as the original ones and they are difficult to put back into the attached case.

Great bags
These are great bags. The only reason they're b stock, is that it's hard to fit them back in their storage sacks. That doesn't bother me at all.
These bags are super strong; I stuff them full at the grocery store and the farmers market. The seams and handles are still going strong.
They also hold quite a bit. I can fit a week's groceries in 2 or 3.

Love it!
I love the fact that these have their own built in carrying case and it's small enough to throw in your purse. We just started using reusable bags for our grocery shopping and were pleasantly surprised that an entire shopping cart full fit in only 5 bags! Wow, we usually bring in at least twice that many plastic bags. So not only are we helping to save the planet by eliminating some plastic bags but we also made fewer trips unloading our groceries as well...double bonus! We are absolutely in love with these bags. good
i like how much it can hold and how small it is when i throw it in my purse but i am worried i'm not going to be able to fold it back up after i wash it and the creases come out.

Strong, Pretty, & Useful
I really like the new hemp version of the workhorse bag. It fits in my purse so that I always have a shopping bag with me. Unlike the other versions, this one does have a slight drawback. I have a lot of difficulty stuffing the refolded bag back into it's pouch. It is a very tight fit. As a result, I tend to just refold it and put it in my purse that way--which is no big deal. I'll continue to use it because it is strong, and was an excellent value, and on a shallow note: it's cute!
