It's the perfect size for my sandwiches; which is quite a feat since I use wide bread not the typical Sunbeam square-shaped bread. It's easy to clean and fits perfectly in the Acme lunch bag, which I also love.

Great product for carrying sandwiches or dry food, but the seal is not tight enough for any food that could leak - it will.

My kids loved getting their lunches and snacks in these boxes, until my helpful husband put them in the dishwasher! At first they looked OK, so we kept using them, and then I got lazy and put them in... After a couple of high heat sterilizations they were ruined... The color faded and when I hand washed them in hot water and hand dried them the color actually came off on the tea-towel. Even before we ruined them, I was a little disappointed with the closing mechanism. My ADD son had played with the little plastic seals and they got broken very quickly. Also, I guess that lunch boxes and snack bags take a beating at school, because even my daughter's was pretty dented, and she is careful of her belongings. So, it all depends on the way you use things. They are beautiful, and I did replace the first set with another that we are being more responsible with, but I strongly recommend you to follow the manufacturer's recommendations!

Lunch box is sizeable enough to fit a large sandwich and two sides (like a small piece of fruit and a cookie). Hinges are sturdy and the seal around the lid (silicone?) locks tight enough to take stew to work without leaks. I like it but wish I got the larger size.

I really like this product. It is great for transporting food because it won't brak like glass. I wish it came in an even smaller size for takiing my lunch to work.

I purchased this Sigg box for keeping delicate items safe while camping and kayaking. Like all Sigg products, the construction quality is outstanding. If you need a solid, air tight box for any reason, this is the one. It is bigger than I had anticipated - more than ample for an IPOD, cell phone, or other sundries. In fact, it is almost too big for my purposes - I find myself having to add items to prevent the smaller ones I had intended it for from ratting around inside. All around, highly recommended for any purpose.

I bought two of these boxes for my daughters' lunchbags (Built NY Gourmet Getaways). Not paying close attention to the dimensions listed, I quickly realized the boxes had extra space even with a sandwich in them. I have started using little square silicon baking cups to divide up the remaining space and put veggies, fruit, pretzels, etc. in them. Essentially, I have created a little bento box for their lunch. My kids are ages 9 and 10 and have had no problems opening/closing them. They also think the boxes are cool (as do all their friends!)

This is a beautiful box. However, it doesn't fit well in my daughter existing lunch box so we'll have to get clever and find another way to use it. I feel it's a little big for my daughter's lunch - she doesn't eat that much of one item. But I know we'll put the box to good use! For a long time!

Very lightweight, seems securely sealed, yet easy for my 3.5 year old to open. I'm a little disappointed that it's not recommended to put it in the dishwasher. I have stopped putting plastic in the dishwasher, so I was hoping to replace some plastic items in my kitchen with things that are safer to eat from and safer in the dishwasher. It is quite easy to hand-wash, though. Wish it were a little bit deeper to fit whole fruit inside it for a snack.

Love it. This smaller size is great for kids' luchboxes. Holds plenty. We purchased four of the stainless steel for leftovers and life on the go. We love them. SO MUCH NICER THAN PLASTIC!!!!

Purchased for my wife who loves it and uses it often for a variety of uses. Compact size and comfortable handles make it a keeper. Quick drying material is another bonus.

Great storage box! Plenty big for a modest lunch-- salad, sandwich, crackers with fruit and cheese. Good for a couple of servings of leftovers. Compact and sturdy.

Waterproof, as promised. However - don't eat straight out of it with metal utensils: think nails on chalkboard. Other than that, it's a great product!
