Product Details
For 100+ years, SIGG has utilized Swiss precision and craftsmanship to produce high-quality reusable bottles. The history of SIGG Switzerland dates back to 1908 when metal processing specialist Ferdinand Sigg established an aluminum product factory in Biel, Switzerland. The SIGG bottle became a fixture in Swiss households; in fact, every member of the Swiss Army had a SIGG bottle issued as standard field gear. A USA subsidiary was launched in 2005, but SIGG operations still remain in the quaint village of Frauenfeld, Switzerland to this day. In addition, as a member of 1% for the Planet, SIGG USA donates 1% of all sales to helping preserve our environment.

Difficult To Use
I loved the thought of this top at first; I actually switched out the screw top for this one when I bought my first Sigg bottle. I was not at all impressed once I started using it though. I found I had to press rather hard to get the water to flow through the "open" position. This made the bottle difficult to drink out of when doing anything active. I liked the cap as it kept the bottle top clean but the cap eventually broke off. I went out and bought one of the screw tops to replace this one as I don't think it's worth buying another.

Active Bottle Top for Sigg Bottles
Well I ordered the Active Bottle Top for my Sigg bottle and just love it!! The only problem is that I broke the "bubble" part. I had hand surgery in May and really do not have use of my hand just yet. So, I accidentally drop it and it cracked. So I do have to get another one soon as I really need it. Thanks again for a great product.

Great quality; learning curve on use
I am making the switch from Nalgene to SIGG... Obviously BPA is one reason, but I've also had countless spills from my Nalgene bottles. I like these tops a lot - I like that they are leak-proof, I like that there's no need to unscrew anything to drink from them, I like that the lid keeps the dirt/germs off. The functionality of the bottle top does take some getting used to, however. Sometimes I unknowingly leave it locked shut, and once I left it locked in open flow - incurring yet ANOTHER spill. But those mistakes are totally on me... it just works so well and is designed so well that it takes some getting used to. The pieces are easy to take apart and wash, but won't "accidentally" come apart.

advantages of top
I like the active bottle top because you can leave it in the open position without any danger of its spilling. you can drink while driving, say, without needing to open anything---it's spring keeps it shut until you drink. On the downside, in the past i've found that the plastic cover breaks off easily. so far that hasn't happened with this one.

Hello, i'm a french fan of the site. I bought this item, but i must say it's not suitable for my 4 year old girl. She just can't drink with it. If she wants so, she must push it rather hard against her theeths, or press the cap with her two thumbs to let the water flow. Before bying i've had red such summaries and didn't believe them. I should have.

Great Product, Easy to Use
I started using the SIGG Active Bottle Tops and love them. They are easy to use - lock and unlock - and they match my bottles perfectly. While I love my SIGG bottles I didn't like the slight taste of the stainless. Now I don't notice it. One complaint is that the flip cap is loose.

80% perfect.
I love the mechanism in the cap. With the twist and lock and stuff. Bu the flip lid itself is kinda loose and opens sometimes. Othat than that it's ok. I might have just gotten the Sports Cap with the little pull top.

This was the only Web Site I found that would sell these caps separately. The caps fit on Sigg bottles and allow you to drink while holding the bottle with one hand; yet if the bottle tips over, no water spills. Everything arrived in time as ordered.

My son really liked the active top, but it broke w
My son really liked the active top, but it broke within a few days. His bottle fell over onto it's side while he was kneeling down packing his backpack. That was enough to break the plastic that holds the flip top on. I don't think that is nearly sturdy enough for a bottle that is meant to be used for runners, bikers and young people. The bottle is great, and now he just uses the screw top, but I wish I could get him an active top to use one handed that would last. This review, however, is a reflection of the Sigg top only, not of Reusable Bags. I have generally found their products and service great.

So far these caps have been great
So far these caps have been great. However, this is about the 3rd time I've had to replace them for our bottles. I know you are not the manufacturer and this is the first time I've ordered them from your company, but I really hope these last. It only takes a fall to the floor (and these are being used by my kids) and they crack. Maybe you can share this feedback with Sigg. I purchased them through reusablebags.com because of the low price. Good news is that it made me familiar with your products, so I will probably buy other things.
