Innovative tool specifically designed to get into every nook and cranny of your SIGG bottle while still soft enough to keep your bottle and tops looking like new. Great for any other reusable water bottles like Klean Kanteen, Nalgene, Laken or glass bottles.

Why It Gets Our Seal of Approval

    • Basic and handy tool for SIGG bottles, bottle tops, or dish-washing in general!
    • Works well with any reusable water bottles. See our selection here
    • Innovative Swiss design and attention to detail
    • Works great with SIGG Bottle Clean Tablets

If you're just using your SIGG with water, a quick rinse will usually do the trick. Every once in a while you'll want to thorough clean your bottle especially if you've used it with sugary liquids that can leave sugar deposits at the bottom of your water bottle.

Along with exclusively hand washing your bottle, using the SIGG bottle brush ever so often provides a thorough yet gentle cleaning that keeps your SIGG bottle clean and looking like new. Works well with SIGG, Klean Kanteen, Nalgene, or any other reusable water bottles!

Design & Functionality
SIGGs are safe reusable bottles that do not leach toxins into its contents. Reusable, lightweight & durable, these bottles can take a hit without compromising the interior lining. About 20% lighter weight than comparably sized Lexan plastic bottles, SIGGs are incredibly durable, virtually unbreakable though they may dent to absorb falls or hits. Just ask the guys at Backpacker magazine who recently tested the leading bottle brands and crowned SIGG as "The World’s Toughest Water Bottle".

Fashionable as they are functional, each year SIGG launches exciting new designs from artists around the world. Much like a fashion house, SIGG rotates and drops designs to keep things fresh. SIGG reusable bottles are beautifully designed - in fact, SIGG bottles are part of the permanent Design Collection at the NY Museum of Modern Art.

Materials
Designed and manufactured in Switzerland from a single piece of pure aluminum, each bottle is perfectly extruded for uniform, seamless construction. The brilliant exterior of a SIGG is created using a solvent-free, eco-friendly, powder-based coating which is baked on to create a vibrant finish.

SIGG reusable bottles have been thoroughly tested in the U.S. and Europe to ensure no leaching of any aluminum or liner contents. We only carry bottles with SIGG's EcoCare liner, which is independently tested to be 100% free of BPA, phthalates, BADGE, BFDGE, and NOGE. The proprietary EcoCare liner is a bake-on, polymer powder coating which is sprayed evenly onto the bottle interior and bonded to the aluminum shell at nearly 200 degrees Celsius to form a permanent, flexible barrier. Just 40 microns thick, this coating comprises only a few grams per bottle and in no way interferes with the ultimate recycling of your SIGG. The liner is taste-neutral and resistant to fruit acids and energy drinks, ensuring that your drinks taste like your drinks every time.

For test results and more information about the SIGG liner read our FAQ.

Sustainability
Not only are SIGG bottles designed to be reusable, they are 100% recyclable at the end of their very long lives. Aluminum is one of the most environmentally friendly materials in the world because it is extremely easy to recycle, regaining nearly all of its properties and making it ideal for repurposing.

Single-use, disposable water bottles (PET plastic) create millions of tons of unnecessary waste each year. In fact, according to the Container Recycling Institute, less than 15% of plastic water bottles in the U.S. are actually recycled – most wind up in landfills where they can take up to 1000 years to biodegrade. Using SIGG bottles helps replace wasteful, use-and-toss single serving plastic and paper beverage containers, while saving you money in the process. Reusing durable SIGG bottles ultimately helps you consume less over time.

"More than 90% of the environmental impact of a plastic bottle takes place before the bottle hits the landfill... energy to manufacture, energy to transport, energy to refrigerate--and ultimately energy to recycle." – Dr. Allen Hershkowitz, NRDC

About SIGG
For 100+ years, SIGG has utilized Swiss precision and craftsmanship to produce high-quality reusable bottles. The history of SIGG Switzerland dates back to 1908 when metal processing specialist Ferdinand Sigg established an aluminum product factory in Biel, Switzerland. The SIGG bottle became a fixture in Swiss households; in fact, every member of the Swiss Army had a SIGG bottle issued as standard field gear. A USA subsidiary was launched in 2005, but SIGG operations still remain in the quaint village of Frauenfeld, Switzerland to this day.

SIGG is committed to preserving nature. They choose FSC-certified papers for all their publications, and work with eco-printing plants to actively reduce CO2 emissions and participate in voluntary climate protection.

Care Instructions
  • Do not freeze your SIGG aluminum bottle – it will crack!
  • Rinsing your SIGG thoroughly under the faucet with warm, soapy water at the end of every day and letting it air dry with the top off provides sufficient cleaning in most cases
  • When more thorough cleaning is required, you can use baking soda and vinegar
  • For tough jobs, pick up some SIGG cleaning tablets or Skweet.
  • Do not use a hard bristled brush to clean the interior of your SIGG bottle as this may damage the liner.

I finally have the proper brush for my SIGG. Others just didn't cut it. This brush doesn't get gross or dirty like others i've tried & it's easy to clean. Paired with the bottle cleaning tablets - works like a charm!

Pricey but perfect.

by Amy F - 04/2011

I got this for the stiff bristles that extend out the top of the head, for cleaning the bottom of vases as well as my water bottles. It works just as I'd hoped: Cleans well, and rinses off easily. I expect it to last forever since I don't use it as my everything brush.

Brush is great to use on Sigg bottles and other narrow water bottles. Long enough reach and scrubs the bottom really good.

Terrific bottle brush

by Susan P - 01/2011

I really like this brush. I use it for all types of water bottles as well as my stainless steel coffee carafe. It doesn't have any wire at the tip, which is what contributed to my other bottle brush scratching my stainless steel water bottles. The handle and shape of the brush are such that you can reach all areas inside the bottle. Would definitely recommend.

This brush really works well for me. I have a LifeFactory glass water bottle (rubber outer coating). I only use it for water, so I clean once a week or so.
