Modern design and state-of-the-art vacuum chamber technology produces a consistent "high vacuum" for superior temperature retention. For 100+ years, SIGG has utilized Swiss precision and craftsmanship to produce high-quality reusable bottles. The history of SIGG Switzerland dates back to 1908 when metal processing specialist Ferdinand Sigg established an aluminum product factory in Biel, Switzerland. I love the SIGG 0
I love the SIGG 0.5L THERMO MUG. These mugs have snug lids and are easy to manuver. The handes on the mugs are shaped for comfortable holding. The best component to the mug for my preference is that it is stainless steel and easy to clean. I have had many good comments about them and people ask where I got them from.

I love my mug
I love my mug. Ergonomically functional, the open and close lid is secure, minimal spills if I tip it over, and I love that its earth friendly! I plan on buying another one for the husband :)

Its fast becoming the "Mug-of-Choice" for the morn
Its fast becoming the "Mug-of-Choice" for the morning coffee/tea. Easily keeps the contents hot for several hours. While not water tight, the lid does a great job of preventing the last few drops from leaking out into my bag once I am done drinking.

My new favorite traveling mug, fits in all my vehicles. I had been looking for an unbreakable container for my morning coffee and this mug is the ticket. It's nicely constucted and tough. Similar products I looked at weren't quite as nice. This was a good purchase.

I love my SIGG thermo mug. While I agree it is not something you can put in a bag, it is perfect if you're carrying your hot drink between house, car and wherever. I find the lid very easy to clean as the sliding part is easily removed. Clearning the inside of the mug is also easy because, unlike a SIGG waterbottle, you can fit your hand and the sponge inside. I'm about to order one for each of my young children for their morning hot chocolate.

The mug itself is well made and keeps a "medium" size coffee warm for about two hours. The cover is another story... it is hard to clean, will leak if tipped since it just pushes on and the sliding piece that covers the drink opening bumps up against your face when you try to take a sip. I would have expected something a little better for the money and from the reputation of Sigg.

These are wonderful for taking my coffee to go and my husband can tell a difference in the taste in his coffee compared to carrying it in his old plastic coffee thermos. Worth the investment!

Why oh why is this mug lid a pop-off and not a twist-off???!!! The quality of this mug is just not what I expected in a sturdy, try-to-use-forever travel mug. It just seems flimsy and less durable than mugs i've had in the past, and I know that pop off lid will come loose if I put it in my bag while commuting. Sorry! I do, however, recommend the Chico Bag (which i also just received) - I use it almost every day!!!
