Since SKOY is reusable and washable it can last a very long time, some people still use them after a year. A normal life cycle of a SKOY cloth starts in the kitchen to wipe counter-tops and table tops. After using the SKOY for a week or two in the kitchen, it can be renewed in the washer or “downgraded” for indoor cleaning such as floors, bathrooms, etc. After a few months in this stage, being washed a couple of times, the SKOY can then be used for outdoor messes, such as wiping patio furniture as well as for garage use. This is the great thing with SKOY, it can be used over and over again.

Design and Functionality
Skoy is a paper towel replacement that has the absorbency and cleaning power of a sponge, without unwanted bacteria. Wet your Skoy, squeeze out excess water, then get cleaning! A Skoy absorbs as much as 15 paper towels and dries so quickly that bacteria don’t have the chance to grow. They hardly take up any space, so it’s easy to store one anywhere you’d like to keep a roll of paper towels, like your kitchen, bathroom or garage. For smaller jobs and spaces, you can cut the Skoy down to whatever size you prefer. You can use cleaning products with Skoy, but it works extremely well with just water - another way it helps save money and resources. Similar to a natural sponge, Skoy lasts longer when used for cleaning hard surfaces as opposed to textiles like carpets.
When it does need a cleaning, you can throw Skoy in your dishwasher or washer/dryer. Or, place it in the microwave wet for 1-2 minutes to keep it germ-free. At the end of its life, Skoy is completely biodegradable. If you throw it in your compost, it will break down in about 5 weeks.
Materials
Made of 100% biodegradable cotton and wood pulp cellulose. Water-based colors and inks. Completely breaks down in compost in about 5 weeks. Skoy’s are packaged with a raffia tie with a recycled paperboard information card.
Sustainability
In America alone, 3,000 tons of paper towels wind up in landfills each day. Not only does using Skoy cleaning cloths divert waste from the landfills, it also reduces the number of trees that have to be cut down for their production and the energy required to package and transport bulky rolls of towels. The Skoy factory has invested heavily in an integrated environmental recycling and disposal facility. Production by-products are purified and recycled as much as possible in the process, and regeneration baths are returned to production by an evaporation process. Wastewater is treated at the site’s biological wastewater purification plants.

You can also microwave a wet Skoy for 1-2 minutes, soak it vinegar over night or let it sit in water after it's been boiled to sanitize it.
Tips

I love these flat sponges. They last and are great for anything I do in the kitchen. Once dirty, throw them in the washing machine and they are good to go again! Thank God I use 99% less paper towels now that I have the Skoy's!!!!

durable, multi-purpose, and attractive
I got these as an apartment-warming gift, for myself. I've only been using them a week, but so far have no urges to go out and buy paper towels or sponges. I've used them for washing dishes, wiping the countertop, cleaning up spills, as "coasters" for wet dishes on the counter after they're washed (I don't have a dish rack yet), and as hot pads (don't have those yet either), and they've done all of these jobs quite well. Unlike a sponge, they dry very quickly, which makes me less paranoid about germs hanging out in there. They seem very sturdy, and I like that they have different textures on either side to help with scrubbing. The colors are fun and bright and look nice sitting around. I don't see myself needing another pack of these or a roll of paper towels for a very long time, which means they're doing their job as reusables perfectly!

I love these cloths!
These cloths have replaced papertowels in my house. They are easy to wash. The only thing I don't like is that they stain easily, so even after the wash they aren't totally pristine.

Love them
These are great, I love the way you can chuck them in the washing machine with your other tea towels etc, to get them back to a sanitary state. A good idea, as I really don't like the thin flimsy ones that disintegrate within a short time, and I hate wasting paper towel.

Great product
I used those blue thin washable cloths but they would leave wet streaks and never completely dry the surface. They would rip after a while too. I love my Skoy cloths!!! Wipes up the counters and kitchen table without leaving it wet. Just throw it wet into the microwave for a minute to sanitize it. Love that it is made of natural materials and works so well. Dries quickly and tough too! Wished I found out about them earlier. Perfect product! I will be buying these from now on and for gifts. Washed it in the washing machine and comes out fine but prefer not to put it in the dryer since it might not last as long. Can't find myself to use it in the bathroom yet. Too good.

I've never cared for sponges or dishrags, even tho they could be run through the dishwasher or laundry, and used tons of paper towels. These can be run through the laundry or microwave, so that you know they are clean and sanitary (I use them all over the house). This is my second order because I keep giving them away for others to try; we love them in the kitchen at work. I will definitely keep a stash on hand!

I have only used this product once so far. I am finding it difficult to break my paper towel habit! I do like that each Skoy is a different color so I can keep track of which I have used for what. They seem to be sturdy and do wipe up quite a bit of liquid. I find them awkward, but think that over time I will get used to them.

Very useful
I use this everyday now instead of paper towels (which I was using several times before discarding into the compost bin). I can rinse these out. They're attractive and dry fairly quickly unlike a dishrag.

I love the Skoy Paper Towel Replacements
I ordered the Skoy towels because paper towels were one of my last disposable products, one I never thought I'd be able to get replace. I've been using the first towel for a month now for kitchen counter cleaning and haven't had to go on to the next one yet. I just rinse, hang to dry or put in the microwave for a minute to kill germs. It's holding up extremely well. And it's textured enough to really do a good job cleaning the counter. When it does need to be replaced I'll just use that one for dirtier jobs, like the bathroom or floor spills. They're pretty, too!

LOVE my Skoy towels!!!!
I love these little towels. I gave my mother-in-law one and she loves it too. I'm ordering more of these to give to my friends & family for Christmas!!
They are sturdy and they dry so well without getting stinky. And I love the little flower design on them.

Easy to use, easy to clean. Directions say not to put into dryer, but I have done so a few times accidentally - no harm done!! I have already purchased a second set.

Great for work kitchen
