Since SKOY is reusable and washable it can last a very long time, some people still use them after a year. A normal life cycle of a SKOY cloth starts in the kitchen to wipe counter-tops and table tops. After using the SKOY for a week or two in the kitchen, it can be renewed in the washer or “downgraded” for indoor cleaning such as floors, bathrooms, etc. After a few months in this stage, being washed a couple of times, the SKOY can then be used for outdoor messes, such as wiping patio furniture as well as for garage use. This is the great thing with SKOY, it can be used over and over again.

Design and Functionality
Skoy is a paper towel replacement that has the absorbency and cleaning power of a sponge, without unwanted bacteria. Wet your Skoy, squeeze out excess water, then get cleaning! A Skoy absorbs as much as 15 paper towels and dries so quickly that bacteria don’t have the chance to grow. They hardly take up any space, so it’s easy to store one anywhere you’d like to keep a roll of paper towels, like your kitchen, bathroom or garage. For smaller jobs and spaces, you can cut the Skoy down to whatever size you prefer. You can use cleaning products with Skoy, but it works extremely well with just water - another way it helps save money and resources. Similar to a natural sponge, Skoy lasts longer when used for cleaning hard surfaces as opposed to textiles like carpets.
When it does need a cleaning, you can throw Skoy in your dishwasher or washer/dryer. Or, place it in the microwave wet for 1-2 minutes to keep it germ-free. At the end of its life, Skoy is completely biodegradable. If you throw it in your compost, it will break down in about 5 weeks.
Materials
Made of 100% biodegradable cotton and wood pulp cellulose. Water-based colors and inks. Completely breaks down in compost in about 5 weeks. Skoy’s are packaged with a raffia tie with a recycled paperboard information card.
Sustainability
In America alone, 3,000 tons of paper towels wind up in landfills each day. Not only does using Skoy cleaning cloths divert waste from the landfills, it also reduces the number of trees that have to be cut down for their production and the energy required to package and transport bulky rolls of towels. Because of its small weight and size, the carbon footprint of transporting Skoy is minimal, as verified by an independent consultant.

The Skoy factory has invested heavily in an integrated environmental recycling and disposal facility. Production by-products are purified and recycled as much as possible in the process, and regeneration baths are returned to production by an evaporation process. Wastewater is treated at the site’s biological wastewater purification plants.

great!!!
I love these paper towel replacements but find I'm using them more as sponge replacements. They are very absorbent but I find I use way too many paper towels to dry my hands and these wont work for that. I have to get used to using cloth towels.

They\'re great!
I love these. I've bought other paper towel replacements and was disappointed, but these work wonderfully. They do dry very crisp, which takes some getting used to, but they do the job of cleaning, wiping, etc. very well.

Good for the Environment but...
These are nice little towels but my husband keeps throwing them in the garbage thinking they are more paper. Also, once the white gets dirty, it is impossible to get it to look clean again so would suggest colored towels instead.

Absolutely LOVE this product. I bought mutli sets and sent some to my sister as well.
They are the best replacement for paper towels if you want to help keep our planet free of waste and save some money.
They work great, as long as you remember to get them wet.
They are super absorbent, do not get smelly or slimy, and go through the washer and dryer without shrinking or falling apart, the color on colored ones do not run, and they have a cute, whimsical design.

Great for damp cloth dusting.
I LOVE these!!! I have allergies and they are great for damp cloth cleaning all surfaces instead of dusting. One in the kitchen wipes the counters and cabinets. One in the bath wipes the tile walls, sink edge, mirror frame, etc. One on the patio is used to wipe down the barbecue. I have had these for MONTHS and have yet to throw any away after repeated use and washing.

Great product
I take a damp one in the car when we pick up our granddaughter from school so she can
clean up before and after her car snack . Paper towels fall apart.

Long lasting and good size.
I gave these to my mom who won't ever stop using paper towels, but at least these should slow her down some. They are a good size and wash out the crumbs nicely.

Amazing towels!
I have used the sponge towels you buy at the grocery store for years. Within a couple days they smell awful. The Skoy towels remain virtually oderless for months! I don't understand why but, they work. If you do get an odor you can just wash them. But on a daily basis just a rinse keeps them odor free. I just bought some for my daughter for Christmas and I will probably buy more as gifts for friends. Thanks to whoever came up with this formula for these towel/sponges.

LOVE these \"towels\"
I found these the summer of 2011 and have fallen in LOVE! I rarely use paper towel anyway but you can use these Skoy towels for so much more. I have replaced my "dish towel" AND sponge for cleaning dishes. You can really scrub with these things and they dry very quickly. They can also be cleaned in the washing machine. (Just be sure to find it stuck to the side of the drum after the spin cycle.. lol) I also take them camping and use around the camp for messes and such. Very durable and could be used for a million things. Everyone got a pack for Christmas in my family. :)

Very useful product
These are sturdy, absorbent, attractive, and comfortable to use. Their size is more like a dishcloth than a paper towel. Since they have to be wet to use, they don't replace the drying function of paper towels. But they are a very useful addition to the kitchen.

Love Skoy Paper Towel Replacements
I love the Skoy Paper Towel Replacements. They pick up great. I use them in the kitchen, and once they start to wear I switch them to the dirtier jobs. They last forever, they don't get that nasty smell that dish towels tend to get. I pop them in the microwave now and then to freshen them up. I bought extras last time for friends and family to try out.

I am still using the 1st Skoy cloth. It went through the dishwasher & came out in one piece & clean. I haven't tried it in the washing machine yet.

Awesome!
We absolutely love these and use them all the time! I have one by my kitchen sink so it's always handy. I have one I use specifically for cleaning the bathrooms too. The only bad thing about these is everyone wants one when they see them so we keep giving them away! The only thing we use paper towels for now is to use to soak up grease when frying foods so we use less than a roll per month! This has encouraged us to get more green so we also have the reusable shopping bags too and we love those as well!

LOVE these!
I've bought two sets of these already and love them. They dry so fast which means less time for bacteria to grow. I put them in the microwave every other day. We use so much less paper towel now.
