I love this mug and so does my husband. It keeps the coffee warm and the lid though not spill proof does prevent spills if handled carefully. You wouldn't want to throw it in your lunch bag. It could be a bit bigger for maybe 2 cups or maybe offer a version for a double cup for those of us who like to bring their own coffee to work and would love to have the second cup.

Perfect for morning tea
This mug is great for my morning tea. It is a good size and keeps the tea hot, but not scalding. And it's double insulated so it's not too hot to hold. My only complaint is that the lid is not a tight seal; even when I finish my tea and throw it in my bag with the tea bag still inside it tends to come open and leak in my bag. Otherwise a great product.

great idea, not-so-great implementation
I like to have hot tea while I work but drink so slowly that it cools off long before I finish! Bought this item for use in my home office because it was both sleek and functional -- an insulated, covered mug sounded perfect. In reality, though, implementation fell short. + The the double-walled construction conducts TOO MUCH heat from inner wall to outer wall, making the outside of the mug painfully hot to the touch (it is stainless steel, after all!) after pouring in a boiling hot beverage. What's more, the mug stays hot for so long that I couldn't drink from the mug without burning my lips on the rim for 20 minutes or more, *even if I left the lid off*. + Mug capacity is on the small side. Box reads 12 oz., but I think the practical capacity is more like 9-10 oz. + If you use this mug, leave an overly generous (maybe 1 inch) "head space" at the top if you intend to cover it. When I left only about 1/2 inch, the lid spurted hot tea out the vent hole as it tried to vacuum itself to the opening. Ouch. All that said, this mug would be great for drinkers of tepid beverages!

Best Cup Ever
After having two double walled cups that got broken because they were not stainless except on the inside, I decided to get this cup. All I can say is it is perfect. I love it, it keeps my coffee hot and my kids can't accidentally break this one!

I really like the stainless SOHO mug
I really like the stainless SOHO mug. It keeps my coffee hot as I am a slow drinker. Because I bring my own cup, I get a discount on my coffee. I receive a lot of compliments from others on how cute it is.

This is a difficult size to find in an insulated m
This is a difficult size to find in an insulated mug, and I was pleased to be able to buy it from a company that offers so many environmentally responsible products. The material does not affect the taste of my coffee, and the lid does help keep it warm, although not quite as long as I would like. The mug is very easy to keep clean, unlike plastic thermal mugs. The baristas at the coffee shop where I get my daily coffee all like it too, and asked me for the source (which, of course, I provided).

Though I love the design of this mug, it does get
Though I love the design of this mug, it does get noticably warm to the touch after pouring coffee or tea in it. So, while it'll keep warm for a 30-minute drive, I don't see it keeping your beverages hot/cold for more than an hour. I tried keeping orange juice in it, and 2 hours later it was barely cold. It won't leak through the sides, though if you're not careful, you can splash liquid out through the tiny hole on top, which I imagine is to let hot air escape. I think it's most useful either around the house, or at work, if you'll be pouring your cup there.

I think this mug will keep drinks hotter when it's
I think this mug will keep drinks hotter when it's warmer outside(maybe the colder temperature effects the mug?). I found that as soon as the drink is exposed to air the mug doesn't keep the drink warm anymore (even if you put the top back on right away).

I have used the SOHO mug for a couple of weeks, I purchased it to use at the office for tea. I would say that it is a bit disappointing. The exterior is quite hot to the touch and it does not keep beverages hot very long. I have tried keeping the top on which helps, but it has to be removed to drink. I would rate the product as fair. The lid fits securely and the handle is comfortable. In contrast to this product I have several Nissan stainless tumbler mugs that I use for coffee while driving to work. They do an exceptional job keeping the coffee hot. Perhaps I was expecting to much from the SOHO.

This is exactly the mug I've been looking for! It's small enough to fit in my bag, and just the right size for a small cappuccino. I enjoy that there is no plastic around the rim, it makes drinking out of it more enjoyable than most take out mugs I can find. The lid is flush with the top, and works to prevent spilling while you walk with it, but is meant to be removed before drinking. This isn't a mug for for someone that needs to sip and run at the same time, but better for one who likes to get coffee while out and about, and then sit down with it. I've been getting comments on it from the coffee shop and friends. Very very nice!

I love this mug!
I love this mug! I am using it now. I have my morning green tea in it at work every day and my only regret is that its not microwavable. But still, it keeps my tea piping hot nearly an hour after I have forgotten it!
