Care Instructions
- For maximum insulation efficiency: pre-heat or pre-cool your mug/bottle just prior to use, fill with hot/cold tap water, attach lid, let stand for 5 to 10 minutes and empty
- After filling, cover the mug/bottle with the lid or top to increase thermal efficiency
- Wash and rinse mug/bottle thoroughly after each use and thoroughly dry
- We recommend avoiding the dishwasher for everyday cleaning. Simply use a soft cloth or moistened sponge with a mild dishwashing liquid to remove exterior dirt.
- Do not use bleach or cleaners containing chlorine to clean the mug/container/bottle.

I really like the travel mug's styling, comfort in my hand and the fact it retains the heat of the contents extremely well. I have used others that have leaked which is very annoying , but the seal is great , and I'm not wasting 7 coffee cups per week.

stainless steel thermal mug
This is the second mug that we've ordered. On this one the top does not fit tightly, as compared to the first one. However, it seems to become more secure when hot liquids are poured in the mug. The rim on the new mug is different than the old one so maybe this is the way the new mug was designed. We had considered returning it but for now it seems ok. The plastic base on the original mug cracked so we needed a replacement. Your mugs are the only ones that are large enough for a Starbucks venti!

Keep in mind, not dishwasher safe
I knew these were not dishwasher safe before buying them, but now that I am forced to hand-wash them every day, I'm wishing I had looked harder for ones that can go in the dishwasher. Also, it's very tall, and doesn't fit in a keurig coffee machine, just in case others like us are counting on using it with their Keurig. Other than that, it is nice looking, sturdy, good handle.

Our relationship
...has been a long one. I was the first to review this mug and it is still going strong!
I still stand by it's heat transference and heat leaking problem (which is why I gave it 3 stars back then). BUT because I have used it hundreds of times and and brought it on many road trips throughout the years and it 1. still looks quite good and 2. has not broken, I am now bestowing an extra star upon it. Thank you, Mug!

Great size, keeps contents HOT
All around great mug. I keeps the contents hot a VERY long time (hours.)
My only complaint is that the lid is quite loose when the beverage cools down. It won't come off when filled with hot liquid, but by halfway, the lid is quite loose.

this is the best go cup we've ever used!
My husband doesn't go anywhere before noon without a cup of coffee in his hand. He says this is the best cup he's ever had for flavor and heat retention.

It's big - it's stainless - it's temperature savvy - it imposes itself on lesser carrying vessels. I knew these things in advance which is why I purchased two - to double my sense of self satisfaction as well as the amount of coffee with me at all times. Thanks. Sean

This mug lasted less than a year. I liked the large size, but the base was too narrow to stay securely in my car's cup holder. Recently, the part that slides open so you can drink or lock the lid has broken (had to take lid apart to clean it properly), so now the travel mug is practically useless. :(

Really like the mugs. Very hard to find that size that's not plastic and has BPA. Easy site to use, received them quickly, and love them. Really keep coffee hot. I'd be happier if I could put them in the dishwasher, but that's my only complaint. Otherwise, I enjoy them and use them every day.

The website says it's BPA-free, but nothing on the box, tags and stickers says that. I also didn't realize it wasn't dishwasher safe - I would never have bought it if I'd known that. I may return it.

Good, but not for the dishwasher

I love my new commuter mug. It's big enough for my 4 cup pot, and it doesn't tip easily. However, it's not for the dishwasher. The note on it that says that's it's not for the dishwasher is pretty small, and I missed it. So, now I have water in the bottom of the mug that leaks out over everything. I guess eventually it'll drain completely. But, don't put it in the dishwasher!
