The To-Go Ware® stainless steel 2-tier tiffin (a nifty lunch box system that hails from India) is reusable, lightweight and has a lid that doubles as a plate. Easy to carry and clean. Though it's not insulated it's great for cold or hot food, as well as the planet. Fold down the handle to make it compact and easy to store. Perfect for work, school, picnics, concerts, travel and camping. It even makes for a stylish doggy bag for your leftovers. Simple, yet sturdy, self-latching top allows you to use two containers or just one. Both levels are big enough for a sandwich on standard-sized bread, salad, pasta, whatever and wherever you like!

Design & Functionality
The two levels sit securely on top of each other, with the top level acting as a lid to the second level. Includes a handy removable plate that functions as a lid for the top container. Great for hot and cold food, the levels will keep courses separate. The 2-tier style is great for those who prefer sandwiches and larger portions. Also makes a great take-out container.
These items are not guaranteed to be leak proof. We recommend putting soups and sauces in the top tier of the tiffin – the lid and double-latch system is designed to prevent against leaks. Add a Sidekick inside your food carrier to hold accompanying sauces or dressings, or outside a food carrier for dry food like nuts or fruit.
Materials
Lightweight, food-safe 14/1 grade stainless steel. Contains less nickel than other food-grade stainless steel and does not require a chemical sealant. These reusable, risk-free stainless steel containers do not impart taste and do not leach toxins into their contents. Avoid exposure to potentially harmful chemicals and BPA leaching from plastic alternatives.

This has to be one of the best items I ever have bought!I take salad everyday to work and this is an awesome holder. I fill the bottom with my salad and put the dressing in a small container, cheese and other items in the top part. Its an altogether meal. I have used it everyday since I received it! Very happy customer!

love these
Love these! They are my all-time favorite to-go ware. My kids (2&4) really like to carry them & I don't have to worry about them breaking. I had 2 for over a year & lent them out 1 1/2 months ago but cannot seem to get them back :( they wash up well in the dishwasher. One fault: they do NOT water seal, so no liquid lunch in these. We are asked all the time where we got them. Buy them without hesitation; you won't regret it. JUst don't lend them out without a security deposit!

nice design but cracked

I love that we can get these here, but I was disappointed to have the container crack on the side. I had their small, sidekick container crack as well, with no undo pressure on the container, and the customer service person at To Go Ware said they would not replace it. I see that another reviewer had one crack, too. I hope they have fixed the problem.

shiny sturdy but tough to open

I've had this item for a while and like it, especially that you can use the top by itself. However it's nearly impossible for me to open the lid, due to the suction and close fit. I have to use my fingernails at the very lip and pull hard. My small kids have to have an adult open it for them, no way they can get into it on their own. Wish it wasn't quite so tight.

Looove that 2-Tier Stainless Steel Food Carrier! It is made of great stainless steel quality. I bring it for lunch at work. I pack fruits on top, veggies and greens at the bottom and the little container inside may contain nuts or else. LOVE IT! The 1st one I got was defective and customer service took care of the matter very quickly. Great business! Thanks!

I haven't purchased this new design but I have purchased 3 sets of the original design. The design is great except that after few months, you will see rust in the interior so I ended up using them for cookies and pistachio nuts. I hope the quality of new design is better than the old one but I am still skeptical. Please let the the company know this to review their To-Go Ware product. This kind of product is very much popular in Asia..I was lucky to find a company selling there same kind of product with same material but better quality(from my experience)....

I got this for my teenage (13) son to take hislunch in. He thinks it's the coolest thing and all his friends are jealous! They wash sparkling and spotless in the dishwasher and never get smelly-even when banana is left in it for 2 days! My only complaint is that it doesn't hold quite enough for his man sized appetite. And the 3 tier is way too small, tho it works for my daughter. Awesome product!!

Clever Design, Great Quality

I bought the tiffin based on other users' comments and suggestions and am very glad I did. It's proven to be a very practical, food-safe, sturdy and clever choice for carrying small meals, to-go orders and restaurant leftovers. (I also bought Built's Gourmet Getaway Large Insulated Lunch/Tote Bag to tote it in. I highly recommend it for its good fit, practical yet stylish design, padded insulation and sturdy construction.) I haven't had any quality issues with this product so far; I do hand-wash and dry it after each use, which might explain that. The snap locks work and hold everything inside, even if it's dropped or tipped over. The clever design never fails to attract others' attention, so I enjoy pointing out how much better and safer it is to use rather than wasteful plastics. And of course, I tell them where they can get one of their own!

Great kit! reminds me of the meal containers used in the movie Papillon - I would suggest one change. I wish the upper bowl could be inverted and clamped to the lower bowl - I like to eat large salads and it would be nice to shake all the ingredients together -

We LOVE our new stainless tiffin. My 4 year old son uses it for his school lunch and while some things do not fit in it (multiple individual containers with dips/spreads & fruit/veggies), most things do. My son loves mechanics and locks so this is perfect for him. I love the option of using one tier or two depending on what we have for lunch that day. It is easy to clean and certainly stands out from the crowd.

Love mine- have the two tier Top tier put hot cereal Bottom tier- can put food in directly or if liquid, like soup, I found it fits a 2 cup pyrex bowl with lid using a cloth napkin as a bumper. Only wish I got the three tier as I could use one more compartment for fruit and snacks...

I like this product's design, even though diameter is a little larger than I expected. However, after one week of school, one of the teirs already has a crack near the rim. This item was on the pricey side, I am surprised it hasn't lasted. Defective, perhaps?
