Design & Functionality
These bags are made from 16 oz. hemp canvas—a fabric that’s stronger and more durable than cotton, pound for pound. Its roomy shape is great for carrying groceries, and the comfortable, wide strap is perfect slinging across your body messenger-style – no hands required. Like its sister bag, the Bucket Bag’s inside is fully lined and features a convenient inner pocket for keys or other small personal items.
Materials
Made from 16-oz. hemp canvas – 4x stronger than cotton fabric of the same weight. Unlike conventionally-grown cotton, hemp has no known insect enemies and a high resistance to disease, so there is no need to use harmful pesticides in its cultivation.

I've just purchased a second Bucket Bag as a backu
I've just purchased a second Bucket Bag as a backup. I bought my first a year ago & it's still going strong .. very sturdy. My favorite thing about this bag is that it has only one, wide shoulder strap ... no second strap to be constantly chasing after. The bag is big & carries a LOT. And, it is pretty snazzy looking.

I'm still on the fence about whether or not I will return this bag. First of all, contrary to a previous review it really is beige/cream color. I was hoping it really was sage, but alas, no luck. Second of all, the straps are too short to wear it across the body. The bag looks like it should be worn messenger style, and it really stinks that you can't. Also, the bucket on this bag is deep and if you fill it it's going to break your shoulder off. This bag was meant to be worn across the body and it's a complete design flaw that you can't. Four inches on the straps and you could choose how to wear it, but right now you have a big deep bag, with nice wide straps, that can only hang on 1 shoulder. It's totally wrong.

Hi, I really like the bucket bag and have used it a ton in the 2 weeks I've had it. The strap isn't quite as long as I expected (it's fine for me) but you might want to give a bit more detail on the strap length online? -katie
