When she couldn’t convince her two boys to bring home their baggies to reuse, she decided to sew cloth bags out of their favorite fabrics – an instant success! Tips
- To avoid getting crumbs stuck in the Velcro, flip the top of the bag inside-out before shaking it out.

I bought 3 bags and use them for everything! I have saved so much money on not buying plastic bags plus of course reaching my goal to totally reuse IT!!! The best part I think about this product is it is MADE IN THE USA!!! Please keep finding more items made in the USA. I will keep buying!

Fantastic bags!

We have both the guitar print and the floral. My husband even likes the look of the guitar print and uses them at work. We use both store-bought bread and bread we've made in our machine and both sandwiches fit perfectly in these bags. I can see where the wider loaves would have to fit in as stacked halves, but they would. We've gotten PB, mayo, mustard on the inner lining and all wash off with a breeze (although yellow mustard tends to stain a bit). The velcro keeps everything tightly sealed and moist. We've not had anything dry out. To wash, I simply turn inside out and use a soapy washcloth, rinse and let air dry. If there are only crumbs, I just shake them out. I can't say enough good things about these! I would highly recommend them as terrific replacements for ziploc bags!

The best of the things I bought

I got the wrap, the organic cotton set of 5 bags with labels on the bags (fruit, snack, ?, etc) and this, this was the best product. I love the nylong inside for packing things that aren't dry. I'm not comfortable putting strawberries or kiwis in the all cotton bags. I love that it is still not plastic though.
The trade-off is that the inside will stain, esp with strawberries, but oh well.
I kind of wish there was something I could use on the velcro while washing - like an extra strip of backing - so it doesn't fuzz-up against all the stuff when I turn the bag inside out, and it won't close the bag if I don't turn it inside out.

My new favorite sandwich bag!
I'm so pleased with the WasteNot Saks bags. The interior lining makes them simple to clean, the velcro closure is secure, and the patterns are cute. (That said, solids or simpler patterns might be more appealing to, say, teen boys). They are a little pricey, but when you consider the cost of plastic baggies, not to mention their cost to the environment, their price is justifiable. I like them much better than other brands I've tried!!

I bought a sandwich size bag and a snack bag to test them out. They're useful for a lot of things. I used the snack bag to carry some tea bags in my purse. The velcro doesn't close all the way, so I'm not sure how useful they'd be for anything liquidy (apple slices?), but they're great for dry snacks.

These reusable bags are so easy to use. Turn inside out and wipe clean after each use. That's it! Well designed and well constructed. Even cool enough for your teen to use :)

LOVE
We have several of these and the snack bags. They have held up so well, wash great and we get people inquiring about them all the time. I think we have generated LOTS of sales for reuseit.com (do I get commission?) :)
So worth the money. We lost one so just ordered more.

Worth it
I love this reusable snack back. The vinyl lining makes it great for both sandwiches and produce. The design is cute and very true to the picture, and the Velcro makes for a secure closure.

I like these, but find they don't clean as well as others. Also, the velcro gets stuck together easily at the top. Sometimes the bag will close even though I am still snacking with it. The patterns are fun though.

Great purchase.
I ordered this just when my grad school program ended and my vacation began, so I haven' t used them as much as I normally would (i.e. every weekday). The few times I have used the bag, it is great! The velcro strip prevents any crumbs from falling out and it holds a sandwich just fine. The only slight--very slight--issue is that crumbs can get stuck in the velcro. It's a little annoying to pick them out, but it's really no big deal. I recommend getting these and ditching your flimsy, unenvironmental plastic bags! P.S. Has anyone tried freezing items in these bags?

Adorable print and nice quality - I just find the interior velcro a bit of a pain to clean. The fold over designs are smarter.
