WasteNot Saks are sustainable, convenient replacements for plastic baggies, wraps or bulky plastic containers. The same size as a typical Ziploc sandwich bag, WasteNot Saks have a secure Velcro closure that keeps your food in place. The modern prints are perfect for teens and adults. (See our tips below!) Plus, they pair perfectly with matching snack-sized bags, so you can create your own custom lunch set!
Materials
Made with a designer 100% cotton print exterior and lined with a water and stain-resistant nylon. The nylon liner is FDA-approved food-safe, BPA-free, phthalate-free, PVC-free and lead-free.

Tips
- To avoid getting crumbs stuck in the Velcro, flip the top of the bag inside-out before shaking it out.

Pricy, once you consider Canadian exchange and shipping. But I love these bags, and am giving them to people as gifts. My daughter loves them in her lunch - a great way to educate all the kids around her in class. She's one 6 year old savvy to the importance of less plastic!

Very Pleased!
I was incredibly skeptical about trying these bags, but I have to say that they truly are terrific! Even though they're cotton, the lining keeps food fresh and the velcro closure completely prevents crumbs from spilling out. They are also super easy to clean. I just rinse them out in the sink and they're dry by morning. In the future I would like to see some more "masculine" patterns. The guitar design was the only choice for my son.

Great for school lunches
We have the flat wraps and LOVE them ... perfect for sandwiches and stuff. Kids sometimes have things that need to go in a baggie and that is what we use these for! Love the fun patterns and are easy to keep clean!

Good for smaller sandwiches
I liked these bags in most ways - they close really easily and securely, but aren't too hard for even my 3-yr old to open. They will work great for my kindergartner, since he only takes 1/2 a sandwich - but they really don't hold a whole sandwich. They also work perfectly as a larger snack bag. I have both these and the Snack Taxi - I like them both for different things. For sandwiches the Snack Taxi bags are much better. But I like these, too and use both depending on what I'm bringing. Nice quality, too.

love it
easy to clean, my 5 y/o has no problem opening it and they hold a good amount of food. i was purchasing this in preparation for kindergarten and know my daughter would likely not ask from help if she couldn't open the bag herself. this was perfect and environmentally friendly too!

Loved the first three that I purchased and to ensure they are always ready to go...I purchased another three for use during the week. Haven't even looked back at the old ziplock bags and probably won't. I am sharing this product with my family and friends and they are all getting on board with the going green thing.

favorite snack/sandwich bag
I've tried 3 of the various re-usable snack bags on offer, these are my favorite. Lighter material than the others, nice velcro closure, easy to wash. One drawback - won't prevent food from going stale if it's in bag too long..

I was a little hesitant about purchasing this item initially, but went ahead and ordered two figuring I could use them for my snacks or to hold small items during travel. Well I wasn't prepared for how useful these little bags can be. I use them to hold sandwiches, fruit, crackers, chips, and anything else. The nylon interior is a breeze to clean as I just wipe it down at the end of the day and pack my lunch for the next day. If you have something that is little messier, you can even drop these in the washing machine....and then hang to dry. Would I recommend these to someone else...in a NY minute. Just think with at least two of these, I can keep many plastic bags out of the landfill and they are really cool to look at as well. If I had kids, they would all have their own pattern so that they could tell them apart and I intend to order a couple more to send with my husband when he goes fishing. :)

This product is amazing. Not only is it cute and helping the environment, but it is also very useful. The velcro strip is very secure and I tested it with water and it DOES NOT LEAK!!!!! Many people have asked me where I got it and I refer them to reusablebags.com! :)

I find the sandwich bags to be the perfect size for your standard sandwich, and have not had any problems with the bread becoming stale. They are easy to wash--I turn them inside out and wash with a soapy sponge. I also really like the velcro closure, it holds everything in nicely.

Great Product
I feel so much better grabbing one of the sacks rather than a plastic baggie. They are easy for my eight year old to manage and easy to clean. I would encourage anyone to give them a try.
