Design & Functionality
Simply fold around sandwiches, veggie sticks, cookies and other goodies, fold the cotton wrapper closed, secure with the Velcro® closure, and food stays put. To top it off, these smart reusable sandwich wrappers unfold into placemats! The FDA-approved, food-grade lining easily wipes clean after every use and is certified by the manufacturer to be totally BPA, phthalate and lead-free. (Still concerned about plastic? A great customer suggestion is to wrap sandwiches with biodegradable wax paper inside the Wrap-N-Mat.) They're durable and will give you hundreds and hundreds of reuses.
Materials
Outer shell is made of cotton/polyester. Lining is made of LDPE (#4) plastic. All wraps are manufactured to meet all FDA guidelines to be in contact with food. Wrap-N-Mats are 100% BPA, phthalate and lead-free. LDPD differs from PEVA (what some other Wrap-N-Mats are lined with) in a few ways. First, it's not sticky. It doesn't stick to food and it doesn't stick to itself. Also, it has hash marks, sometimes mistaken for scratches. This marking develops in the final step of manufacture, but it's only superficial. LDPE is very strong and should not tear with regular use.
Please note:We are aware that the LDPE material appears to have hash marks in the lining. These markings are not cuts nor defects in any way and will NOT lessen the durability of the wrap.
Sustainability
When used in place of disposable plastic baggies, each Wrap-N-Mat has the potential to eliminate 1000s of plastic bags over its lifetime, saving you money at the same time. As part of a waste-free lunch kit, these reusable wraps can ultimately help you consume less over time.

Although not required, Wrap-N-Mat, Inc. independently tests all wraps and all meet the new Consumer Product Safety Act (CPSA) requirements against lead and phthalates. Wrap-N-Mat believes in providing a safe product that meets all governmental standards.
Care Instructions
Hand wash in warm water and air dry. Not recommended for use with hot items. Do not heat or use in the microwave.

I have had mine for 2 years and it is still going strong. I simply wipe it clean and then let it air dry for 10 min. and voila! it's ready to go again. If I needed anymore, I would not hesitate to buy more of this product! Awesome!

Love!
I have the smaller version of this and always had trouble getting my sandwiches to fit (I make abnormally large sandwiches apparently). This size is perfect. My sandwiches fit without being squished and I love that I'm not wasting plastic.

I was very excited to purchase the Wrap-n-mat for
I was very excited to purchase the Wrap-n-mat for a gift for my brother-in-law. I haven't actually used the product, so I can't comment on that, but when I was ordering, I wished it came in more simple colors. The gift was for a man in his 30's and I thought the checkered print was a little too "cute" for a man. I was hoping to order it in just a solid color (red, blue, green, black even). Maybe that's something you could offer in the future. Thanks!

I was very excited to order the Wrap-N-Mat Grande
I was very excited to order the Wrap-N-Mat Grande. I eagerly began to use them. I notice that they are easy to clean - but very hard to dry. This is because there is a plastic sheet sewn to a fabric outer layer. The water gets trapped between the layers. You are supposed to just wipe down the plastic - however since the wrap doesn't seal the jam always oozes over onto the fabric so I have to wash the whole thing. Also, the velcro snags the fabric. The velcro pulls out long strands of the fabric every time I unseal the sandwich. This product is a great idea- it just needs work. I would redesign the product to just be a thicker plastic without the fabric backing.

Please see my review for wrap n mat. These products are great - the grande is the good size for sandwiches and the regular good for smaller items. Very easy to clean of things like mayo and etc., that tend to stain or cling.

I LOVE these
I LOVE these. I have had them for several months now. I use them as place mats, plates and in lieu of a table cloth when I am out with my children ( beach, playground, etc ) and even in our back yard. Very easy to clean and easily portable. I keep two in my car at all times along with the bambo utensils.

Love this product
Love this product. I use it to pack my husband's lunches every day. It is large enough for the largest sandwiches made on rolls - even French bread rolls. Keeps the sandwiches fresh and the cleanup is easy.

We loved the Wrap-N-Mat but have one suggestion
We loved the Wrap-N-Mat but have one suggestion. We actually sewed more of the receiving side of the Velcro onto one side of the mat so that we can use the mat for smaller and larger items. The current receiving side of the Velcro is small and does not allow for you to cinch it tighter for smaller items. If this was sewed into all the mats it would be more useful. Thanks for your great products and web site!

The larger size wrap-n-mat Grande is exactly what I've needed for packing my grandson's lunch; the regular one was barely capable of letting its Velcro closures come together! I have a good and green feeling, sending his lunch off daily to a school which is making many efforts to protect the planet. Thank you!
