Design & Functionality
Simply fold around sandwiches, veggie sticks, cookies and other goodies, fold the cotton wrapper closed, secure with the Velcro® closure, and food stays put. To top it off, these smart reusable sandwich wrappers unfold into placemats! The FDA-approved, food-grade lining easily wipes clean after every use and is certified by the manufacturer to be totally BPA, phthalate and lead-free. (Still concerned about plastic? A great customer suggestion is to wrap sandwiches with biodegradable wax paper inside the Wrap-N-Mat.) They're durable and will give you hundreds and hundreds of reuses.
Materials
Outer shell is made of cotton/polyester. Lining is made of LDPE (#4) plastic. All wraps are manufactured to meet all FDA guidelines to be in contact with food. Wrap-N-Mats are 100% BPA, phthalate and lead-free. LDPE differs from PEVA (what some other Wrap-N-Mats are lined with) in a few ways. First, it's not sticky. It doesn't stick to food and it doesn't stick to itself. Also, it has hash marks, sometimes mistaken for scratches. This marking develops in the final step of manufacture, but it's only superficial. LDPE is very strong and should not tear with regular use.
Please note:We are aware that the LDPE material appears to have hash marks in the lining. These markings are not cuts nor defects in any way and will NOT lessen the durability of the wrap.
Sustainability
When used in place of disposable plastic baggies, each Wrap-N-Mat has the potential to eliminate 1000s of plastic bags over its lifetime, saving you money at the same time. As part of a waste-free lunch kit, these reusable wraps can ultimately help you consume less over time.

Geeky \"cool\" factor!
I used this at work for the first time a couple of days ago, and got lots of positive comments on it - even from folks who are not "green" in practice.
It fit my sandwich well and more importantly it kept it as fresh as if it WERE packed in a zip-loc bag.
I also like the fact that it gives me a clean place to put my sandwich, and associated 'sides', down on my desk.
I purchased the red and white checked version for a "picnic" feel - a nice mini escape in the midst of a work day.
Clean up was a breeze, though my sandwich was only peanut butter. But I assume more drippy sandwiches should clean up just as easily. The outer surface is fabric, but the instructions say it can be washed by hand in warm water.
I am extremely happy with this purchase, and will be getting another for myself, as well as a few for gifts.

Fancy Sandwich!
I love the wrap-n-mat! It makes it easy to bring a sandwich in my bag, on the go. It's easy to clean - just wipe down the plastic side. They are also eye-catching - just yesterday, someone stopped me to ask me where I had purchased my red gingham wrap. Love it!

Can't say enough positives about this little wrap. My kids use them all the time so I ordered more! I have not needed plastic baggies in weeks and look forward to continuing this environmentally friendly habit!
Sturdy construction on the inside and fun, soft fabric on the outside. Folds easily and is well designed to hold loose pieces of food like grapes, chips or pretzels and they won't fall out!
I have ordered many things from your site and this one is in my top 5 favorites!

This product is absolutely wonderful and versatile. We primarily use it for lunchbox sandwiches.. no more baggies! Folds out nicely, offers ample space and protection for foods from surfaces, easy to use and very easy to clean. The Wrap-N-Mat is made of durable materials and the color options are fun and neutral. Definitely worth the small investment.

Terrific Buy
My co-workers and I are working towards making a green office. I saw this product and decided to buy them as gifts for my co-workers. They absolutely loved the idea that it is reusable and it serves as a sandwich bag and a placemat. Such a genius concept. I bought one for myself, and I find it durable and the perfect alternative to plastic sandwich bags.

good alternative to plastic baggies!
I've been looking for an alternative to the sandwich ziplock bags for a while now, but I always found the velcro bags too large or didn't hold in enough moisture. I've tried zipper bags but again the sandwiches dry out over time. So far I'm really liking the wrap-n-mat's. I can pack one or even two sandwiches and then wrap tightly around them. The one small complaint I have is that I wish the velcro strip was a little longer so when I have a small sandwich I could still close it. As it is, I wrap it up and then tuck it in my son's lunch box so that it doesn't come unraveled.

what a concept
I hated using plastic baggies and tossing them out to hold my sandwiches. This thing is great! I use it when I have wraps that don't fit in my sandwich container. I'm sure I could use it for a lot more, too. Way to be waste free :)

Good alternative to plastic baggies
This is a great alternative to a sandwich baggie. It works better for a sandwich than a wrap, though. It would be great if it could close a little tighter to help hold wraps together. Other than that, this is a nice product!

Wrap N Map
I love these, very convenient and easy to use. My only down side is cleaning the cloth side. You can't put in the washer so it stains easily, but the food side cleans with just a damp cloth.

I am so happy with this!
I am so happy with this one--others did not keep sandwiches, cheese, etc. fresh, but this one does! I like having a placemat and sandwich bag all in one neat package.
