Design & Functionality
Simply fold around sandwiches, veggie sticks, cookies and other goodies, fold the cotton wrapper closed, secure with the Velcro® closure, and food stays put. To top it off, these smart reusable sandwich wrappers unfold into placemats! The FDA-approved, food-grade lining easily wipes clean after every use and is certified by the manufacturer to be totally BPA, phthalate and lead-free. (Still concerned about plastic? A great customer suggestion is to wrap sandwiches with biodegradable wax paper inside the Wrap-N-Mat.) They're durable and will give you hundreds and hundreds of reuses.
Materials
Outer shell is made of cotton/polyester. Lining is made of LDPE (#4) plastic. All wraps are manufactured to meet all FDA guidelines to be in contact with food. Wrap-N-Mats are 100% BPA, phthalate and lead-free. LDPE differs from PEVA (what some other Wrap-N-Mats are lined with) in a few ways. First, it's not sticky. It doesn't stick to food and it doesn't stick to itself. Also, it has hash marks, sometimes mistaken for scratches. This marking develops in the final step of manufacture, but it's only superficial. LDPE is very strong and should not tear with regular use.
Please note:We are aware that the LDPE material appears to have hash marks in the lining. These markings are not cuts nor defects in any way and will NOT lessen the durability of the wrap.
Sustainability
When used in place of disposable plastic baggies, each Wrap-N-Mat has the potential to eliminate 1000s of plastic bags over its lifetime, saving you money at the same time. As part of a waste-free lunch kit, these reusable wraps can ultimately help you consume less over time.

does it\'s job well
This is my second set of mats. I used the first set for approximately 2 years. I had to get rid of those after they stayed wet and got mildew on the cloth side and I couldn't get it out. These do a great job. I use them every day for my kid's lunch (and sometimes mine). The wipe down easily. If you bunch or scrunch them the plastic does leave the bend marks in it, but it still works just as well. I wipe them down every day and approximately once a week wash them in hot soapy water. I'd purchase them again.

Great idea, could be slightly better
This is a really good idea and it works pretty well, but it works best for substantial sandwiches. It would be helpful to extend the length of the velcro strip so that skinny and smaller sandwiches could be wrapped tightly.

Great!
Love the wrap-n-mat,here comes the "but", I wish it came in more/ cuter colors. I have used this product for at least 3 years. They hold up
very well except for some curling of the Velcro as they age.

Nice for small sandwiches
I like these mats. They are a great way to prevent waste, & they double as a placemat. I wish they were a little bigger, but otherwise it is a great item. I like the recycle print too!

It's great knowing I have a clean surface to eat on in the workplace or in public. Haved used them every day since I got them in the mail; thereby, reducing my use of plastic and aluminum foil even more. Allows me to carry leftover sanwiches in my bag without the bag smelling like the sandwich. Even wrapped my reusable utensils in one of them. Easy to carry and wipes clean, love them!

We've had 2 of these for the last couple years and I think they're great! When they arrived, I was sure the liners wouldn't last for more than a dozen uses, but they hold up wonderfully! We use them for lunches 2 or 3 times a week. I especially like how flexible they are for different sizes and shapes of bread. Would be nice if the attachments were longer so smaller or larger things would fit more easily. That said, I've gotten a sandwich and a half in with no problem using standard slices of bread.

These are great! A really great alternative to using plastic wrap or aluminum foil to wrap sandwiches! My husband likes them and got a lot of comments from others at work when they saw his sandwich. It opens into a nice placemat to eat your sandwich on and the liner just wipes clean after using it.

My large family uses these sandwich wraps daily. I have lost count of how many of these I have purchased over the years. I only wish they came in a MEDIUM size as well. The regular is sometimes too small, but the large is usually too large.

This is my 3rd time ordering these wrap-n-mats because I love to use them and also give them away. These are very easy to use, and it sure feels good not wasting all of those plastic bags! These are durable, convenient, and easy to keep clean.

I LOVE the Wrap-N-Mats! They are easy to use and wonderful as placemats (especially for my 2-year-old). I did a lot of research into reusable sandwich bags & wraps before purchasing these, and it was a tough decision--but I am very happy with these. They don't take long to dry at all, even if they get soaked while I'm washing them off.
If you eat overstuffed sandwiches regularly, go for the large Wrap-N-Mats, as the regular size would not fit large sandwiches.
These are great! Highly recommended.

These are a wonderful idea. The fact that they unfold as a place mat and totally flat for washing is perfect. I love the fun different patters as well.
Ways to make it better: Offer a nylon version without the plastic. Pack and ship it not wrapped in disposable plastic. Make the velcro a button/loop closure for easier washing and more durability. Velcro is great when you need a closer, tighter seal like the other bag replacements - but this concept doesn't need that and has the freedome to get away from velcro.

Second time buying the mats in 6 years and I am just as pleased the second time. Velcro is even stronger, plastic interior is durable and safe, mat is a place mat and replaces the throw away plastic bags or heavy glass containers, easy to clean, and looks great. What else could you ask for??? I'd buy them again and highly recommend them to anyone.
