Our "Plastic Bags Blow" Photo Contest gave you the chance to help show the world how plastic bags have gotten out of control. We sought the eerie, the "beautiful", the ugly - how they affect nature, animals and our beaches. 

We received lots of great photos and picked 5 finalists. More than 2,500 of you picked the winner. Big thanks to all of you who submitted photos and to everyone who voted. 

We are pleased to announce the winner: Meshl, for her photo "Sunset, obscured." Meshl will receive an Activist Reusable Shopping Bag Kit and 5 ACME Workhorse Bags. The winning photo was featured at our website and highlighted in our newsletter.
