3.0 Lightweight but with flaws

I use this for short distance running so that I'm not carrying around excess weight. This bottle is easy to fill, easy to clean & is very lightweight. What brings the score down are some design flaws. Most of the pictures show a metal carabiner but the bottle comes with a plastic one. The plastic carabiner is awkward to use & feels cheap and the carabiner hole has already begun to warp under the strain of use. I find myself not wanting to use it at all because the carabiner is such a pain. A metal carabiner & a reinforced hole would be big improvements. By Rosemary L

The Bottle is so easy to pack then refill after security when flying. On a bus tour recently there were no seat back pockets and nowhere to put a regular bottle, but the clip meant it could be attached to the grab handle - perfect! It also sits upright on flat surface.Planning to give to friends and family!

3.0 Interesting idea some design flaws

I wanted to love this bottle so much. After about a month of pretty light use. I didn't roll it up and only used the caribiner once to hand the bottle from my purse but I did carry it by the caribender during my daily walk. I noticed that the hole for the caribiner started to fray now it is starting to tear. I am afraid to put my bottle in my purse because of the tear it could start to leak if the tear spreads. My advice is not to use the caribiner if you purchase this model or to get the newer model with a plastic reinforcement piece on the hole. Other than that it does everything as advertised. By Josh H

These are exactly what I expected and wanted. I always carry a water bottle out of the house but when it is empty, they often become a burden to carry, or I leave them. With the Vapur, I can just roll it up when done and stick in my pocket. I recently moved and the night before, I filled one about 3/4 full and tossed it in the freezer. I left the bottle in my car and as it melted, I had cold water for trips between places. I'm looking forward to using these in coolers for street festivals and picnics with my family this summer.Top rack dishwasher safe, freezable, collapsible and extremely convenient.

These collapsible water bottles seemed like a good idea, I bought two. I filled them half full and froze them, then fill the rest of the way when I use the bottle. I'm a little disappointed in the usefulness of the bottle. (1) doesn't hold enough water. (2) the sport cap is so tight I cant open it for a drink without spilling out half of the water - i get wet! (3) have to use an insulated sleeve (GreenSmart neogreen - Great!)to keep the water cool. This is not something I will buy again. By Kelly F

This water bottle is much larger than I envisioned, which is excellent. However, I would warn that it's also wider at the base than it look like in the picture, which means it won't fit into every kind of cup holder. I like that the water comes out very easily from the sports cap, however, popping the cap up itself is very difficult for me. I might just need to break it in. It only bothers me, because it doesn't seem like the bottle has a very sturdy base (and becomes less so as you drink more), so I have to constantly close the top in case it falls over. All that being said, it's still very convenient - much lighter and compact that the glass water bottle I usually carry around.Not really sure how I'm ever going to clean it though...

The bottle itself works great, but the cap is starting to degrade already within 2 weeks of arrival. I tend to pull it open with my teeth, but the cap is staring to get severely scratched by this. It also requires a lot of cleaning. Overall, I think a screw-off cap would be easier to use.The carabiner is incapable of supporting the weight of the full bottle without tearing the bottle, which is kind of disappointing.

It's great for keeping some water with me while I go on walks with the baby, and the baby thinks it's neat and wants to hold it for me. Once the water is gone I can stash the bottle into the diaper bag and it takes up minimal space. The only problem I have is that the water inside is starting to taste a bit plasticky after I used the bottle for a few months, and I'm still trying to figure out how to get rid of that. By Monica S

I bought one for my little girl starting kindergarten and one for myself. The lid is too hard for her to get off and the nozzle is too hard for her to pull up. We tried unscrewing the cap, but the bag is too flimsy for her to hold. It did not work for her, but they are prefect for me. I am a high school teacher and my kids think they are very cool. I unscrew the lid to drink because it it more convenient. I like that they are not bulky and heavy at the end of the day. My bag is heavy enough without a water bottle to add to it. By Tina R

I bought three .5 liter foldable water bottles; one for me and one each for two friends. They are certainly a hit. My friends are world travellers and the bottles are just another opportunity to pack light. The bottles stand up with no problem and freeze great.Only one issue - getting all the water out so they dry and can be folded so there is no worry about any smell or other issue.
Worth every penny and a great gift.

I was all set to order another duplicate order only to discover that the quantity discount is no longer available. I was so disappointed. Looks like I will have to find another vendor. The fold up water bottles are sensational. I put 1 in the freezer and in the AM into my lunch back. I use another in the morning, fold and roll up when empty - by lunchtime that one had done its job by keeping my lunch cold but is ready for me to drink for the afternoon. Also great to take to the garden and when I empty it -- folds up and goes in my pocket until I get back in the house for a refill. Really like this item and will more so as the summer gets closer. I like the foldable water bottle. It is very portable and a good size for carrying in a bag. It is a little inconvenient to fill when you are not using tap water. We filter our water and store it in bottles so we have to fumble with a funnel and spill some water when we are filling the bottles. Be careful when drinking from the bottle, sometimes the top will flop over and squirt you in the face. It's only water and it doesn't matter if you have a sense of humor, but it can be annoying--especially if you are in costume, back stage, waiting to make your entrance. By jennifer b

I love the design, so easy to put into your pocket or clip onto a bag when empty! The only thing is that when you first use them they are a bit smelly and need to be rinsed/aired out so that your water doesn't taste odd. Once you've used them a few times it's gone. Absolutely love this 1000% without a question! I'm a dogwalker and need to carry water around with me, but hate carrying the extra weight of metal bottles. It fits into my lumbar pack, rolls up when emptied, and weighs nothing! It's the best water bottle I've ever had. One of my biggest problems is the weight of the empty bottle when I'm traveling, this solves that problem perfectly. When it's empty it weighs virtually nothing and rolls up into a small size so I can carry it in my pocket or purse easily. I live the pop up cap, makes drinking easier.
